Meet the Middletown Grange Care Home team
Our wonderful team comprises nurses, carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. These people are here to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet some of our staff below:
Hello, my name is Clem, and I am the Home Manager here at Middletown Grange. Welcome to our website and beautiful home!
I became a member of the Barchester family two years ago after spending years in the NHS and care home sector. I am a registered nurse and very passionate about delivering the higest standard of care and outstanding service to our residents. I am so proud to be leading a team of like-minded people whose sole goal is to ensure everyone living here enjoys life as fully as possible.
Hello, my name is Sindhu, I’m the Deputy Manager here at Middletown Grange care home. I joined the Barchester team in April 2021. Having qualified as a General Nurse in 1997 (Mumbai India). I went on to work as a hospital Neurological nurse in intensive care, before completing my post graduate nursing degree and moving to the UK in 2005. I have worked in both Private and NHS care settings across the country. My passion has always been elderly care, I believe our residents should live life to the full.
I’m a local lady, living in Witney for the past 12 years. It’s a wonderful place to live with a real sense of community. I look forward to getting to know more about each of our lovely residents and meeting you.
Teri-Ann came from working as a beautician in a department store to join the Middletown Grange care team. She has embrassed the role fully, and our residents and fellow staff love her cheerfulness. In March 2021, Teri-Ann moved into the role of Activities Coordinator and is enriching the lives of our residents on a daily basis through mind, body and soul stimulating activities.
Becky and Reji
Becky started working for Barchester 18 months ago as a receptionist, she soon discovered that being on the front desk is a very different thing in a care home then to anywhere else. She is always there to comfort residents, support staff and to reassure family’s and visitors and truly is the face of Middletown grange.
Alongside Becky is Reji, who has worked in the care industry for 11 years, one of which being an activities coordinator. Reji has recently joined us at Middletown grange but hit the ground running and loves working in the team.
I have been working in the catering industry for over 30 years and have been with Barchester since 2012. I am committed to providing delicious home-cooked food for residents, which we prepare in-house. I am also responsible for ensuring that residents' nutritional needs are met and that they enjoy everything they eat.
Hello, my name is Jane, I'm an RGN and head a really happy care team, we all work with a smile to making the home a very jolly place to be. I've had the pleasure of working here since 2018.
Hello, my name is Wilson and I recently arrived in the UK from India after being employed by Barchester as a pre-registered nurse. I have the pleasure of being part of a fantastic team here at Middletown.
Carol joined the Barchester Middletown Grange team in 2020 as a pre-registered nurse and quickly became a much loved member of staff.
Hello, I'm Damian, I joined the nursing team at Middletown in 2020 coming from a hospital environment. I've settled into the care home well and feel part of a great team.
Hi, I'm Doreen, I've worked at Middletown Grange since 2018 and absolutely love being a Team Leader, working for Barchester gives me the opportunity to train and progress further in an environment of care.
Hello, I'm Agata and I joined the Middletown care team in 2020. I love providing care to our residents and as a qualified hairdresser I can also ensure our residents all have amazing hair!
Hi, I'm Lisa, I've worked nights at Middletown for the past 7 years. As a senior care health care assistant, I really enjoy my role, and adore taking care of, and getting to know our residents.
Kenny joined our care team in 2020, he has an infectious smile that brightens everyones day!
I joined the Middletown Grange team in June 2020. My core skills are heating and plumbing, although I have a plethora of skills obtained whilst working in the educational, hospitality and care home sectors. I enjoy problem solving, planning and prioritising my work.
Although I work on my own in the maintenance department, I am part of the wider team and enjoy engaging with the residents.
Outside of work, I continue to enjoy running, cycling and trying to play the guitar badly.
Judith has worked at Middletown since 2019, she loves spending time with our residents and getting to know them. Her loves outside of work are her grandchildren and puppy 'Willow'.
Simon has been part of the Middletown team since 2012, he has worked in many different areas of the home before finding his passion within the kitchen team, Simon is always happy to help.
Louise is our wonderful Head of Housekeeping at Middletown Grange, she's known as ‘Grandma’ to all members of staff and has been with Barchester since 2004. Our housekeeping team are passionate about the cleanliness of our home and maintining high standards. In her spare time, Louise enjoys quilt making and dog shows.
Hi, I'm Pam, I really enjoy being part of the housekeeping department. When my not here I enjoy long walks with my two dogs 'Amber and Ruby'.
Jadwiga and Darius
Jadwiga and Darius are our kitchen team, and support our head chef Toby. They have been working for Barchester for a combined 13 years, with Jad starting in December 2009. Both come from Poland and are part of a strong polish community within the home which stretches from kitchen to care and even housekeeping. They dedicate themselves to the residents and provide support to other members of any department.
