Mirela Ghiuvea
Hello, my name is Mirela, and I am the General Manager here at Middletown Grange Care Home. Welcome to our Website!
I truly believe in the values of Barchester Healthcare and alongside the qualified team here at Middletown Grange we are committed to delivering the very highest standard of care, and life enrichment our residents deserve.
As a qualified Nurse with over 35 years’ experience working in the care sector I've gained experience as Clinical Lead, and Deputy Manager in various care settings. Caring for older people is a privilege, and it is my aim to maintain a happy home, vibrant and friendly in nature.
If you would like to discuss the care and best practice, we provide here at Middletown Grange please give me a call or come into see me for a chat over coffee and homemade cake both of which are always available.
Jane Pocock
Hello, my name is Jane, I'm the Deputy Manager here Middeltown Grange and I've had the pleasure of working at here since 2018. Before joining this team I have been in care for many years and worked as both an RGN and Home Manager.
My favourite part of the day is when I start my shift, just walking around the home and getting to see our fantastic residents brings me lots of joy.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening and reading.
Reji Joesph
Reji our home administrator has over 11 years’ experience of working within the Care Industry. He's a fountain of knowledge and a true team player. A wonderful and charming member of our Middletown family.
Toby Webb
I have been working in the catering industry for over 30 years and have been with Barchester since 2012. I am committed to providing delicious home-cooked food for residents, which we prepare in-house. I am also responsible for ensuring that residents' nutritional needs are met and that they enjoy everything they eat.
Louise Heather
Louise is our wonderful Head of Housekeeping at Middletown Grange, she's known as ‘Grandma’ to all members of staff and has been with Barchester since 2004. Our housekeeping team are passionate about the cleanliness of our home and maintining high standards. In her spare time, Louise enjoys quilt making and dog shows.

Hello, my name is Julie and I'm the receptionist here at Middletown Grange.
Doreen McKee
Hi, I'm Doreen, I've worked at Middletown Grange since 2018 and absolutely love being a Team Leader, working for Barchester gives me the opportunity to train and progress further in an environment of care.
Jadwiga Phipps
Jadwiga works as Second Chef in support of our head chef at Middletown Grange. Jad lives locally and has worked within our home since December 2009. She enjoys working with her kitchen colleagues to provide a nutritious and varied menu; her sponge cakes for our resident birthdays are legendary!
Simon Butler
Simon has been part of the Middletown team since 2012, he has worked in many different areas of the home before finding his passion within the kitchen team, Simon is always happy to help.
