Brendan Caffrey

General Manager

Hi, my name is Brendan, and I’m the General Manager of Lydfords. Welcome to our website!

I started my career in the hotel industry, completing hotel management training before specialising in front of house management and sales and marketing. After 30 years in the industry, I transferred my skill set to work in the private social care industry with a focus on customer service which I am passionate about.

I have personal experience of the challenges faced by growing older and the need for assistance and, since 2014, I have worked with customers and their families in helping them to find solutions to care needs.

I am looking forward to the challenge of opening the refurbished home and building a team that will have our residents at the heart of everything we do, and creating a warm, safe and friendly environment.

I have worked in the care sector since 2000 and at Lydfords from 2015. Previous to that, I worked in banking for 23 years. I enjoy my role, which is varied and fulfilling, and I have a good rapport with residents and their families.

I’m kept busy outside of work with the usual family commitments, which include four young grandchildren and my passion for sea fishing.

At Lydfords we offer 24/7 care so I will be on hand with my team at night to ensure that the residents are well looked after and have everything they need. 

Enrico Reyes

As Head Chef, my role is to produce a fresh, nutritious and well-balanced menu suited to the needs of each resident. I ensure that the team and I maintain the highest standards and provide a first class dining experience.
