Hello, my name is Courtney and I am the General Manager at Hafan-Y-Coed. Welcome to our website!
I have worked for Barchester since 2019 as a Regional Clinical Development Nurse and as an Acting General Manager prior to taking my post in Hafan-Y-Coed.
I started my career as a care assistant and qualified as a General Nurse in 2014, and have since had experience in general practice, district nursing and Cardiac ITU, but my passion lies within the social care sector. I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that staff provide excellent care to residents and continue to promote a happy and friendly atmosphere In which family and friends can feel welcome.
Sarah is a Registered Nurse with a wealth of knowledge and experience within the nursing/care home sector. She has worked at Hafa-Y -Coed for years, starting as a carer. She then put herself through a nursing degree. After that, she worked as a nurse on our dementia community, before becoming a Unit Manager. She assumed the post of Deputy Manager in 2019 and is a fantastic hands-on nurse, supporting the clinical team and the General Manager.
