Hi, my name is Judith, and I am the General Manager here at Glenroyd. Welcome to our website!
Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Glenroyd has to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.
I have worked for Barchester since early 2019, and I am responsible for the overall running of this home, ensuring that those who live here are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. I have more than 30 years of experience in the care sector, and started my career having qualified as a registered general nurse in 1984. Prior to starting in this position, I had been a registered care home manager since 2010. During my career, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in both clinical and health and social care.
My name is Sue and I manage the residential and memory lane units at the Glenroyd Care Home. I have worked in care for over 27 years. I started as a care assistant and following training and gaining further qualifications I am now managing my own units. My role is to provide a warm welcome to all our new residents and to ensure they have a comfortable stay. I work closely with a team of senior care and care staff in order to ensure the highest standards of care are offered to each of our residents.
My name is Rebecca and I am the Home Administrator at Glenroyd Care Home. It is my role to support the General Manager by maintaining the administration, HR and financial systems within the home.
I’m new to Barchester, only joining in 2020, but after working in care home settings for many years, I feel at home and love all that Barchester stands for! It is my hope that I can utilise my skills and knowledge and only add to the amazing care that goes on at Glenroyd.
I will be here to help families as they find the right care for their loved ones and navigate their way around fees and funding. I will always be here with a warm welcome and happy to assist with any enquiries you may have.
Hello, my name is Chelsea and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Glenroyd; I arrange all of the activities at the home.
I worked as a Care Assistant here before taking on my current role and I feel privileged to be a part of such a lovely home.
My focus is to ensure that residents can lead a satisfying and stimulating lifestyle. I will always endeavour to provide a varied and meaningful activities programme for those we support.
I absolutely love my job role and enjoy a challenge. It is a great blessing to improve a person’s quality of life and see someone smile because of you.
Hello, my name is Jason I am the Head Chef at Glenroyd. I have 25 years catering experience working in hotels, restaurants and care homes. I am hoping to bring something new and exciting to Glenroyd. I am always open to new ideas, so feel free to share your suggestions. I am very proud to be a part of the Glenroyd team.
Hello my name is Julie I have worked at Glenroyd since 2008 as a domestic in 2019 I took over as head house keeper I like working with the housekeeping team, and I love talking to residents and making sure their rooms are clean and tidy also getting everyone involved where possible. I want to help residents remain as independent as possible.
I work hard to ensure that the home maintains Barchester's high standards and that they work to create a relaxed, personal atmosphere for residents, relatives and staff.
Hi, my name is John and I am the Maintenance Manager here at Glenroyd. I love my role as I enjoy being able to interact with the residents on a daily basis when I am working around the home. Prior to joining the maintenance team, I worked at the home as a night care assistant so its lovely to be able to still have a great connection knowing all of the residents.
