Cherry Trees Care Home in Alcester
Cherry Trees is a purpose-built nursing home that provides 24-hour residential care and nursing care for frail older people, people living with dementia and younger people with physical disabilities. Alongside this, we offer respite care services to provide relief for carers or a break from day-to-day life.
We have a full-time Activities Coordinator, who organises group and individual activities such as outings, celebrations of special days, exercise groups and reminiscence work on our dedicated Memory Lane Community for people living with dementia.
Cherry Trees is ideally situated on the outskirts of Stratford-Upon-Avon in the historic market town of Alcester, and has excellent transport links. We welcome visitors at any time and are happy to offer helpful advice if we can, so please feel free to call us or to drop in.
Types of care
We provide person-centred nursing care services for older people in need of support or for individuals living with dementia, as well as offering care for individuals with physical disabilities. It is important to us that our care services are delivered in a way that celebrates each person’s individuality and helps them to maintain as much independence as possible, so we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each person. This could include personal one-to-one time with staff members when needed, regular visits from a chiropodist or just adhering to special dietary requirements. In our latest CQC inspection we received a ‘Good’ outcome for ‘Caring’.Read more

Hi, my name is Debi Rogers and I am the Senior General Manager here at Cherry Trees. Welcome to our website!
I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in September 1988. Since qualifying, I have held various management posts, including roles in large site homes, but mostly in senior positions in multi-site management as a regional and area director.
Staff training and development is of the utmost importance to me, and I always ensure that I am up-to-date with the latest research, with a keen understanding of good practice, so that I can enhance the the quality of care delivered by my team.
I am committed to the delivery of person-centred care and focus on what residents can do, not what they can't. I promote independence and well-being and consider working in this sector to be a privilege, not a job.
I am dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high quality care by my team and endeavour to create happiness amongst residents at Cherry Trees.Get in touch Meet my team
