Meet the team
Our trained team of professionals work together to create the best possible experience for those living in the home, striving to deliver excellent care services in a warm, homely environment. You can find out more about some of our wonderful staff members below:
Hi, my name is Debi Rogers and I am the Senior General Manager here at Cherry Trees. Welcome to our website!
I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in September 1988. Since qualifying, I have held various management posts, including roles in large site homes, but mostly in senior positions in multi-site management as a regional and area director.
Staff training and development is of the utmost importance to me, and I always ensure that I am up-to-date with the latest research, with a keen understanding of good practice, so that I can enhance the the quality of care delivered by my team.
I am committed to the delivery of person-centred care and focus on what residents can do, not what they can't. I promote independence and well-being and consider working in this sector to be a privilege, not a job.
I am dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high quality care by my team and endeavour to create happiness amongst residents at Cherry Trees.
I have joined the Cherry Trees Care Home team as the deputy manager, recently returning to Warwickshire following several years living and working in South Australia.
I began my care career at a local care home whilst studying at college, where I became ‘hooked’ and changed my career plans, embarking on my nursing career and qualifying as a registered nurse in 1993.
I gained a wealth of nursing and managerial experience, predominantly in acute and emergency hospital care, operating theatres, ambulatory services, cancer care, end of life care, and more recently in service improvement and operational management.
I am looking forward to getting to know our residents and supporting the Cherry Trees team in continually striving to deliver the best care and support to residents and their loved ones.
Hi, my name is Senzeni, and I am the Head of Department on our Young at Heart unit. I have worked at Barchester since 2016.
Yvie Gardiner & Helen Colby
These two lovely ladies are dedicated to their jobs and have built up lovely relationships with each of our residents.
Hi, my name is Anna, and I am the Team Leader on our Young at Heart unit. I am currently studying for my Care Practitioner qualification. I lead a team on the nursing floor and have several years of experience in other nursing homes.
Karen joined us from the Fonance customer service sector for which she had worked for over 30 years. Her previous job entailed working within a specialised care environment. She is the administrator of most daily duties and works closely with the General Manager to continue to acheive the high standard Cherry Trees sets themselves.
Debbie has joined Cherry Trees as the Head of Care. After a career in teaching and caring for children, Debbie's passion in ensuring our resident's specific care and nusing needs are met are core of the wonderful work she does here.
Ray joined Cherry Trees with a personal goal to enrich the lives and minds of a generation that deserves our care, consideration and compassion. No day is ever the same at Cherry Trees.
Ray's varied daily acitvities and events helps create a stimulating and developing engagement programme, to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.
As the Lead Clinician, Diana takes responsibility for the representation of clinical matters within our Memory Lane Community area and provides professional advice to senior management.
Chris is our Head Chef who joins the team here at Cherry Trees with a wealth of catering experience. He ensures that delivering freshly prepared, nutritious meals with a person centered approach is at the heart of everything he does.
I have been with Cherry Trees for over 10 years and love working with residents and the team. I work alongside contractors, and I have learnt many new skills during my time with Barchester, which has developed my role in maintaining and developing Cherry Trees. I am always very positive and ready to help others, and I don’t like to stay still. I really enjoy being busy and I am always smiling.
My name is Claire and i joined the team as Admin Assistant. No two days are ever the same as i am involved in most daily admin tasks that help our lovely care home function. I look forward to greeting you on your next visit
Maxine will manage the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring that all areas of Cherry Trees are clean, tidy, presentable, as well as the residents clothing and bedding. The wellbeing of residents, guests and visitors is paramount for Maxine.
