Activities at Broadway Halls Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.
Scott Bates
Hi I'm Scott, and I am thrilled to be the Activities Coordinator at Broadway Halls. Our residents are special people with many wonderful stories to tell about their lives, I enjoy putting smiles on their faces as often as I can. I love to 'entertain' and aim to ensure that every resident's interests and hobbies are supported. I have worked in care and in activities in previous roles, and I love my job!

Animal Man came along with animals ranging from snakes, skunks, owls and even Fluffy the tarantula who went down well with all the residents. Some were brave enough to hold Fluffy and confronted their fears.

Hilary and her lovely family presented Rebecca with a beautiful arrangement of flowers as a thank you to her and the team for their support. The team made sure that Hilary could attend a family wedding and pulled out all the stops to help her get ready on time.
Fitness can be Fun for all Ages
It was fun & games with James on our exercise session, 'fitness for the elderly' class. Everyone enjoyed it, we raised our heart rates & it made our mind and bodies work together. We are looking forward to the next session.
