Hi, my name is Natsayi, and I am the General Manager here at Austen House. Welcome to our website!
My mother says I was born a nurse; I have never known anything as fulfilling as being a nurse. I qualified in the year 2000, and I have successfully managed nursing homes since 2002.
It was my father’s experiences with strokes, depression, dementia, prostate cancer and diabetes that finally affirmed my commitment to maximize the potential of not just myself, but those around me as well. Be it my son who is autistic, my residents or my staff. I believe every human being has the potential to blossom when loved and nurtured.
I am passionate about maximising the potentiaI of those living with dementia. I chose Dementia Studies at Bradford University, which involved learning about Quantum Reflex Integration, music therapy, Gut & Psychology Syndrome, and I am currently studying Sensory Enrichment Therapy.
Together with my fabulous team of like-minded individuals, I am dedicated to ensuring that our community here at Austen House experiences the very best of what life has to offer.
"When what hear and what you see don’t match, trust your eyes." - Dale Renton.
Hi my name is Gina Mandache and I am the deputy manager here at Austen House.
I have been a qualified nurse since 1988 and have worked in many departments such as liver transplant, and cardio surgery. I have been involved in elderly care since 2003 when I started as a senior carer. I found my passion for elderly care and absolutely love my job and could not see myself working anywhere else.
I have been an RGN for over 35 years and have been working in elderly care since 2004. I am passionate about making a positive difference into the care of residents and love my job as a Unit Manager.
Hey i'm Lily, I'm the person that everybody wants to know but who nobody wants to be. If you want to get something done, you come to me.
Luckily, I’m obsessed with staying organised and making everyone’s lives easier. I’m known as “the nurturer” because I enjoy taking care of others and enabling their strengths.
I have 5+ years of experience in supporting CEOs, MDs & other key leaders. Including a qualification in Business Administration L3, and lots more!
My journey at Barchester began in July 2019 and since then I have learnt and developed a broad range of skills through the excellent training Barchester provides.
I enjoy my role as an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist.
I give a warm welcome to visitors in the home and ensure all phone calls are answered in a friendly manner! I am always here to help.
