Hi, my name is is Trudi, and I am the Acting General Manager here at Appletree Grange.
I have worked at Appletree Grange for over 25 years. As the Deputy Manager, my responsibilities include assisting the General Manager with running the home and supporting the staff in providing an excellent standard of care for residents. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, walking and spending time with my family.
I have worked at Appletree Grange for over three years now and I absolutely love my job. The staff and residents have very much become part of my extended family now! My job as the Administrator of to ensure all the Homes finances and records are kept up to date, I also look after Reception during my working hours so I get to know all the families very well. I have a young family which takes up all my time at Home and I also enjoy swimming and climbing when I get the chance.
Hi, my name is Kim and I’m the Activities Coordinator at Appletree Grange, previous to being an Activities Coordinator I was a Carer her for over 7 years. I enjoy my role and I have some great ideas for events, entertainers and daily activities within the home to help stimulate all the residents.
Myself and the residents have regular sit downs to discuss new challenges we would like to take on and to get everyone’s ideas on what they would like to do to make sure there is something for everyone and to tailor my activities to each individuals interests.
Hi, my name is Michael Brooks and I have been a Head Chef at Appletree Grange for many years. Here at Appletree, everything is homemade and cooked fresh daily, which ensures that all meals are tasty and nutritious, and if residents request anything that's not on the menu, we are always happy to oblige.
Hi, my name is Julie Redden and I am Head Housekeeper here at Appletree Grange. I have worked here for many years; it’s a lovely environment for residents. I enjoy getting to know those we support and their loved ones. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, and I also like to go out for meals. I also love shopping, especially for new shoes and perfume.
I am a Domestic Assistant here at Appletree. My job is to assist the Head Housekeeper, making sure the home is kept clean and fresh for the people we support. I have worked here for over
2 years now and have enjoyed getting to know the residents. In my spare time I enjoy going to fitness classes and love to spend time with my two lovely children and husband.
