Hello, my name is Sharon and I am the General Manager here at Appletree Grange. Welcome to our website!
I started working at Appletree as a Care Assistant, then I was a Senior Carer, before being promoted to Deputy Manager, and finally General Manager. I am both passionate and dedicated to ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care in a respectful and dignified manner.
I started as a Senior Carer and progressed to the Acting Deputy role. I have been at Appletree since 2015 and cannot see myself in any other job. My roe consists of assisting the General Manager in the day-to day running of the home and looking after our wonderful residents. Appletree Grange is a very friendly, homely home and all the staff and residents really make it a home from home.
I have worked at Appletree Grange for over three years now and I absolutely love my job. The staff and residents have very much become part of my extended family now! My job as the Administrator of to ensure all the Homes finances and records are kept up to date, I also look after Reception during my working hours so I get to know all the families very well. I have a young family which takes up all my time at Home and I also enjoy swimming and climbing when I get the chance.
Hi, my name is Kim and I’m the Activities Coordinator at Appletree Grange, previous to being an Activities Coordinator I was a Carer her for over 7 years. I enjoy my role and I have some great ideas for events, entertainers and daily activities within the home to help stimulate all the residents.
Myself and the residents have regular sit downs to discuss new challenges we would like to take on and to get everyone’s ideas on what they would like to do to make sure there is something for everyone and to tailor my activities to each individuals interests.
I make sure that our home is in a good working order and see to any works that need to be carried out. I work closely with the General Manager and other Support Teams within Barchester to ensure that all our residents are safe and comfortable within our home. I really enjoy working at Appletree Grange and find the work that I do very fulfilling.
Hi, my name is Julie Redden and I am Head Housekeeper here at Appletree Grange. I have worked here for many years; it’s a lovely environment for residents. I enjoy getting to know those we support and their loved ones. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, and I also like to go out for meals. I also love shopping, especially for new shoes and perfume.
Hi, my name is Linda and I have been a carer at Appletree for over 15 years, I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. All the staff are friendly and caring and the Residents are like my second family.
Hi, I’m James and I have been a carer for over 5 years. I love working at Appletree, I am given lots of opportunities to develop myself and progress in my career. The staff are all friendly and approachable and the families are all happy and well looked after.
