Hello, I am Trudi, acting General Manager here at Appletree. Welcome to our website! Thank you for taking the time to look further into what we have to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life. I have over 10 years' experience in care and it is the best job in the world! I started my career as a Care Assistant, before being promoted to Deputy Manager at our sister home, Springvale Court. My qualifications include an NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care, Working with Dementia Level 3 and End of Life Care Level 3. I strive to deliver the highest possible care to meet the needs and wishes of everyone I support. I look forward to welcoming you to our home.
I have worked at Appletree Grange for over three years now and I absolutely love my job. The staff and residents have very much become part of my extended family now! My job as the Administrator of to ensure all the Homes finances and records are kept up to date, I also look after Reception during my working hours so I get to know all the families very well. I have a young family which takes up all my time at Home and I also enjoy swimming and climbing when I get the chance.
Hi, my name is Kim and I’m the Activities Coordinator at Appletree Grange, previous to being an Activities Coordinator I was a Carer her for over 7 years. I enjoy my role and I have some great ideas for events, entertainers and daily activities within the home to help stimulate all the residents.
Myself and the residents have regular sit downs to discuss new challenges we would like to take on and to get everyone’s ideas on what they would like to do to make sure there is something for everyone and to tailor my activities to each individuals interests.
Hi, my name is Julie Redden and I am Head Housekeeper here at Appletree Grange. I have worked here for many years; it’s a lovely environment for residents. I enjoy getting to know those we support and their loved ones. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, and I also like to go out for meals. I also love shopping, especially for new shoes and perfume.
Hi, I’m James and I have been a carer for over 5 years. I love working at Appletree, I am given lots of opportunities to develop myself and progress in my career. The staff are all friendly and approachable and the families are all happy and well looked after.
Hi I’m Leigh, I’ve only been at Appletree since September but in that short time I have gotten to know the residents very well. It’s a lovely environment for them and I love working here and hope to be here for many years to come. All the staff are very friendly and dedicated and the Home really has a lovely welcoming feel
I’m Claire and I’ve been a Carer here at Appletree for over 8 years. I have a very close relationship with all the Residents and make sure they are looked after in the way that is best suited to them. We keep the residents stimulated and make sure they are fully included in any decisions around their care. I am also a mentor for any new staff who join our team
