Meet the Appletree Grange Care Home Team

My name is Naomi, and I am the Deputy Manager at Appletree Grange. With extensive experience in leadership and management, I bring a strong background in both operational oversight and compassionate care delivery.

Originally trained in Information Technology, I hold a Master’s degree, a Level 3 Diploma in Nursing, a Level 4 Certificate in Leadership and Management, and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. My IT background has significantly enhanced my effectiveness in the care sector, particularly with the implementation and utilisation of the Enable digital platform at Appletree Grange, which supports real-time, person-centred care delivery and clinical documentation.

My role as Deputy Manager is not just a professional position—it is a passion that gives me immense joy and fulfilment. Every day, I am motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and well-being remain at the heart of everything we do at Appletree Grange.
 

Hi, my name is Christina and I am the activities coordinator here at Appletree Grange. I joined both Barchester and the home in July 2024. We all know that keeping active is important. We have created a wonderful culture within the home and we will work together to give residents the best possible experience.

We are here to ensure that residents enjoy an environment that is both stimulating and socially active. We ensure the team knows each residents' preferences, so that we can deliver a person-centered program of events and activities. Essential to our homely feel is the strong relationships of trust we build with residents and their families and friends

My name is Joffy Alex. I joined the Barchester team in 2022 and then transferred to Appletree Grange in June 2024. I have developed a deep love for my role as a care staff member. 

I feel privileged to provide high-quality care in line with regulatory standards, while also building meaningful connections with residents. Our home has a warm and inclusive culture, bringing smiles and laughter to our residents, staff and guests. Caring for others is not just a job for me—it is a calling.  

I’m Nicole Collins, and I proudly work as care staff at Appletree Grange. From my first day in 2024 until now, I have valued the importance of compassion, professionalism, and adherence to best practices in care. 

Our team is dedicated to person-centred support, and it is heartwarming to see residents actively enjoy their time with us. It bring genuine joy, reminding me daily why I love this role.      

I am Ollianya Ndubuisi, a dedicated care staff member at Appletree Grange. I started in 2022 as an agency staff member, became a bank staff member in 2023 and later became contracted in August 2023. I am passionate about caring for our residents, ensuring they feel valued, respected, and safe. 

By adhering to policies, management guidance, and regulatory expectations, I support a culture of dignity and person-centred care. I particularly enjoy seeing residents thrive when I deliver person-centred care, which brings joy to families, residents, and the whole team.   

I’m Prisca Nkwocha, and I began working at Appletree Grange in 2024. I quickly discovered how fulfilling it is to provide care that improves the lives of residents. I follow all care standards and management policies to ensure safety, dignity, and respect for every individual. 

Being part of the team here fills me with joy because I see first hand the positive impact of companionship, music, and love on residents’ lives.    

I’m David Omotosho, care staff member at Appletree Grange. Since 2023, as a bank staff member and picked up a contract in 2024, I have been dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. 

Following management guidance and regulatory standards helps me ensure residents receive the highest level of dignity.     

My name is Krzysztof Ostrzyzek, and I started my journey with Appletree Grange in 2005 as a care worker and then progressed to the role of a senior care staff member. I have a wealth of experience (20 years) and my level 3 Diploma has equipped me better in my role. I am passionate about supporting residents in a safe, regulated, and nurturing environment. 

I take pride in working with colleagues to deliver person-centred care that enriches residents’ lives.      

My name is Marian Chinez and it is with great pride to inform you that I work as a senior care staff member at Appletree Grange. I have my NVQ Level 3, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. As a senior care staff member, I love being part of a team that provides compassionate, regulated, and person-centred support to our residents. 

Every smile, every laugh, and every shared moment makes this role special. We create joy and meaning in our home. 

Hi, my name is James and I am a Kitchen Assistant at Appletree Grange and joined the home in 2014. I love my job and spending happy times with our residents and staff. Appletree Grange is a very happy home and there is lots of laughter. This makes it a pleasure to come to work.

Hi, my name is Emma, and I am the Home Administrator here at Appletree Grange! 

I have a strong background in adult social care and after over 10 years in the sector, I am committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care that upholds the dignity and independence of every individual. I have worked in various care settings, from small residential homes to large-scale facilities, with a particular focus on supporting friends, relatives and friends.
 

Hi, my name is David and I am Head Chef here at Appletree Grange. I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the home and have worked in the hospitality sector since I was 17-years old. I have previously cooked in hotels, restaurants, and in the army. Cooking is a passion of mine and I love seeing our lovely residents enjoying their meals. Here at Appletree Grange, we provide a wonderful choice of delicious and wholesome dishes. The food and the dining experience at Appletree Grange is recognised as an integral part of the lifestyle here at the home and I am responsible for managing the catering team, ensuring they provide a quality catering service to all our residents, guests and visitors.

I am Ejike Tony Mbagwu. Since joining Appletree Grange, I have found great purpose in my role as care staff member. Every resident deserves dignity, respect, and personalised care, and I work to provide this while following management policies and regulatory guidance. 

Bringing smiles to residents through activities, person-centred care and effective communication is the highlight of my work, reminding me daily of the love I have for caring.    

My name is Mark Watson. Since joining Appletree Grange in 2023, my role as care staff member has become more than just work, it’s my passion. I am committed to giving residents the best possible experience, guided by management expectations and regulatory standards. 

I love creating meaningful moments, such as through engaging in communication, which brings happiness to residents, their families, and the team.   

My name is Funmilola Adebiyi. I joined Appletree Grange in 2023 as a bank staff member and took on a contracted role in September 2024. Working here has been a true joy as we strive daily to create a safe, nurturing, and person-centred environment for our residents.

My name is Lucy Chisholm. I began working at Appletree Grange in 2025. I am passionate about caring for residents in line with policies and care regulations, ensuring their wellbeing at all times.

Hello, my name is Karen, and I am a senior carer at Appletree grange. I started my role here in 2019. My job is extremely important to me and I ensure that all the residents here are cared for to the highest standards, adhering to all the policies and procedures in place by Barchester Healthcare. I am qualified for a level 3 diploma in Health and social care. 

This enables me to put the residents at the forefront of my mind and always make decisions in their best interests if and when required. In my role, the priority is to guarantee the highest standards of care and I have a passion for ensuring everyone is treated as an individual, with dignity and respect. My job is more than just a job for me; Your family is our family.   

Hi, I’m Leigh, I joined Appletree in September 2022 as a Care Assistant and I enjoy getting to know our residents, it’s a lovely environment for them and I love working here and hope to be here for many years to come. I love working as part of a team in delivering quality care and lifestyle for our residents - it feels like an extended family.

We’re thrilled to introduce our very own mascot—Rosie the Dog!

Rosie comes in every day, bringing wagging tails and warm smiles to both our staff and residents. She’s quickly become the heart of our home, spreading love, cuddles, and a little bit of mischief! 

The residents absolutely adore her, and let’s just say… she’s paws-itively the best thing to happen to Appletree Grange!
