"The care my parents received at Woodside House for dementia and general nursing needs was of such excellence that I have continued as a volunteer in the home since their deaths, playing the piano and enjoying music with residents each week. As 'part of the furniture' I quietly continue to see management structures, natural teamwork and genuine compassion which encourage and enable residents and staff to reach out to each other, despite advanced dementia. Life is worth living at Woodside and this is the care I would wish for myself.
Clearly, I can no longer comment on all the questions below (rooms, security, value for money) and so have ticked 'good'. My opinion of the food is strongly influenced by the wonderful tiny cakes offered to residents and visitors - especially the brownies!"
