Sharon Izzard
General Manager
My name is Sharon and I am the General Manager at Westgate House care home. I am a Registered Nurse with my background area working as a Community Nurse before moving into care homes. My passion is working with older people who are living with Dementia and Palliative Care.
My vision for Westgate House is to grow and develop a strong team, supporting our residents with not only their physical health but also their wellbeing and social engagement.
I am driven, passionate and experienced with caring for people with many different health conditions, supporting people living with dementia and encouraging the inclusion of all with being a part of this amazing home.
Tracy Flanagan
Home Administrator
Hi, my name is Tracy and I am Acting Home Administrator here at Westgate House.
I have been working at Westgate House since January 2022.
I started working as an administrator assistant and was offered promotion. I have a great team who support me with two assistants.
Rifna Begum
Head of Housekeeping
My name is Rifna.
My journey in the care field began as far as 8 years ago, starting off a volunteer in the Maternity ward, to providing care in clients houses based in Swindon, making a huge move to London in 2022 and now working as a the head housekeeper & laundry for Westgate House care home.
I like to spread passion wherever I go, treating every work place like a home and the people working with me as a family.
Due to my work ethics and my drive to always work hard, it was only after a few months of working with Westgate House where I had gained my Head of Housekeeping role.
This mindset of treating my work place like a home enables me to work hard and ensure my surroundings are always presentable, neat and free of any bacteria - just as anyone would do in their own homes.
Bibi Persaud
Activities Assistant
We welcome Bibi to the team. She has experience in offering activities. Bibi likes going out on day trips and singing and dancing. She is looking forward to joining the team and getting to know our residents.
Sandra Riley
Head Chef
Hello, my name is Sandra. I am the Head Chef here at Westgate House.
I have been working at Westgate House since August 2021 and I love this team and the residents. With over twenty-five years of chef experience I know how to make the residents happy at every meal time. Whilst I enjoy introducing residents to some of my Caribbean food, it is also important that I provide a wide range of traditional English dishes too - it wouldn't be Friday without Fish 'N' Chips!

Hello. My name is Elena and I am the Administrator's Assistant here at Westgate House.
Derek King
Maintenance Assistant
Hi, my name is Derek and I am the Maintenance Assistant here at Westgate House Care Home.
Together with the rest of the team I help to ensure that our home is a safe environment for our residents and staff. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the home so that it is an enjoyable place to live and work.
My favourite part of the job is assisting new residents set up their rooms; hanging photos, moving in furniture and helping then unpack.
