Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Life at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours. We hope your Christmas was as magical as ours!
On Friday we had our nails done ready for Christmas and of course our weekly pub trip. Thank you to the Bluebell Inn team for always being so accommodating!
Christmas Eve, we had a feast and a glass or two whilst watching White Christmas. And on Christmas Day we had our families join us for a home-made Christmas dinner (which was gorgeous) thank you Sharon. And a little bit of Christmas karaoke to end the day!
Minibus Trip to Waterside
Some of our residents here at Werrington Lodge had a little outing on our home Minibus to the Waterside Garden Centre - and my goodness it was beautifully decorated! We even met Santa and to finish the trip off we had a lovely Hot drink and a Mince Pie. Delicious!
Nursery and Guides visit for Christmas
What a splendid time our residents and staff had at Werrington Lodge today. Firstly, we had the lovely children from Manor House Nursery visit the home to sing some Christmas songs and then the Werrington Guides came and performed some carols for us all too, which was truly amazing!
Werrington Winter Wonderland
Oh what a wonderful time of year! Our Winter Wonderland event was a huge success and was enjoyed by residents, relatives, staff and our lovely local community too! We had some lovely market stalls, a mobile pub providing a range of refreshments, prizes generously donated by staff, relatives, local companies and Santa himself!
Thank you everyone who came to support such a special day - it was simply superb!
Christmas Magic at the Cathedral
It really was an amazing afternoon and brought some of us to tears! Although it was slightly chilly it was well worth it and we all had a magical time.
Thank you Peterborough Cathedral - it was such a special afternoon and Merry Christmas from all of our team and residents here at Werrington Lodge.
Knitting Group
We had our weekly Knitting Group where we were joined by the lovely and very talented Evelyn - a local lady from Werrington village. Welcome to the Werrington Lodge Family Evelyn and thank you for coming to our group!
