We are delighted to announce that we have received a ‘Good’ in our latest CQC inspection.

Opened in October 2011, Wadhurst Manor is a 65 bed care home set in a beautiful 11 acre site close to the thriving community of Wadhurst with rail links to nearby Tunbridge Wells, London and the coast.

The home delivers nursing and residential care as well as dedicated dementia care in one of Barchester’s unique Memory Lane Communities, which features life skills kitchens where everyone can be involved in activities of daily living like baking, washing up and setting the table.

The whole home is designed to be a warm and welcoming place to be – a real ‘home’ in the truest sense of the word. There is a range of comfortable lounges and elegant dining rooms to suit people who enjoy socialising as well as those who prefer quieter activities. There is a welcoming coffee lounge at the heart of the home where our residents can sit and chat, partake in an activity or simply watch the world go by!

Our team of highly qualified nurses and well-trained care staff focus on the individual needs of each resident, developing a tailored care plan for each and every person. The care team is supported by our catering and housekeeping, maintenance and administration teams.

In fact, the entire Wadhurst Manor team warmly invites you to come and visit us as this will help you to appreciate the difference we can make to our residents' lives.

Life at Wadhurst Manor Care Home

That is why we employ trained staff who are committed to delivering a stimulating activities programme and nutritious cuisine, which are supplemented by services and facilities that are designed to make life here as pleasant as possible.

Our team

All new residents coming into the home are given a very special welcome by the staff, and their rooms are decorated to make it feel like they have brought a little bit of their own home into this new environment. As well as the lovely surroundings, the staff in the home try to make each day unique (even more so on special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries). There is always an excuse for a get together, even if it is just for a morning coffee or a cup of tea in the afternoon. We recognise residents' individuality and understand the importance of them making their own decisions when it comes down to their daily lives.
