Wadhurst Manor Care Home
Wadhurst Manor Care Home in Wealden
Wadhurst Manor Care Home delivers nursing and residential care, as well as dedicated dementia care in one of Barchester’s unique Memory Lane Communities. Our team of highly qualified nurses and well-trained care staff focus on the individual needs of each resident, developing a tailored care plan for each person. The care team is supported by our equally dedicated catering, housekeeping, maintenance and administration teams, who work to meet the interests and needs of everyone we support.
The home is designed to be a warm and welcoming ‘home from home’ in the truest sense. There is a range of comfortable lounges and elegant dining rooms to suit people who enjoy socialising, as well as those who prefer quieter activities. At the heart of the home is a welcoming coffee lounge, where residents can sit and chat, partake in one of our many activities or simply just relax.
This 65-bed home is ideally set in a beautiful 11-acre site, close to the community of Wadhurst, which has rail links to nearby Tunbridge Wells, London and the coast. We welcome you to come and experience Wadhurst Manor for yourself to truly appreciate the difference we make to residents’ lives.

Godwin Majoni
Hi, my name is Godwin and I am the general manager here at Wadhurst Manor. Welcome to our website!
I have been working for Barchester Since 2014. I started as a nurse and got offered a position as a bank regional nurse, supporting 3 Barchester homes in the region. I then joined Wadhurst Manor in August 2018 as a deputy manager.
My role involves supporting residents' needs and promoting their independence, dignity and quality of life. I always go the extra mile to ensure that residents receive the best quality care we can offer here at Wadhurst Manor. On top of that, I also take on a leadership role and ensure staff morale is always at the highest level.
