Wadhurst Manor Care Home in Wealden
Wadhurst Manor Care Home delivers nursing and residential care, as well as dedicated dementia care in one of Barchester’s unique Memory Lane Communities. Our team of highly qualified nurses and well-trained care staff focus on the individual needs of each resident, developing a tailored care plan for each person. The care team is supported by our equally dedicated catering, housekeeping, maintenance and administration teams, who work to meet the interests and needs of everyone we support.
The home is designed to be a warm and welcoming ‘home from home’ in the truest sense. There is a range of comfortable lounges and elegant dining rooms to suit people who enjoy socialising, as well as those who prefer quieter activities. At the heart of the home is a welcoming coffee lounge, where residents can sit and chat, partake in one of our many activities or simply just relax.
This 65-bed home is ideally set in a beautiful 11-acre site, close to the community of Wadhurst, which has rail links to nearby Tunbridge Wells, London and the coast. We welcome you to come and experience Wadhurst Manor for yourself to truly appreciate the difference we make to residents’ lives.

Hi my name is Sue and I am the General Manager at Wadhurst Manor Care Home. Welcome to our website!
I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1976 while in the British Army as a Queen Alexandra Nurse. I have been working in elderly healthcare for over 30 years, and worked in various managerial roles.
I am very proud to be able to make a difference to peoples’ lives by working together to provide high quality, person-centred care. My team and I will work to promote residents' independence, dignity and quality of life.
I live locally and have 3 beautiful granddaughters who I am very proud of. Outside of work, I have many hobbies, and most of them involve some form of dancing. I have an open door policy, and staff, residents and their families know they can see me at any time.
I look forward to meeting you all!Get in touch Meet my team
