Hi, my name is Kirsty and I have worked at Spen Court since 2012, I have had a good progressive career, beginning as a care assistant and eventually progressing to a senior care assistant, team leader to my most recent post as Deputy General Manager. I love every aspect of my role, I am dedicated, hardworking and compassionate.

My Team and I are committed to delivering a high quality care with our residents at the heart of everything we do.

Hi my name is Niki, I am a team leader here at Spen Court, and have worked in the home for over 14-years. I strive to improve the quality of life for our residents to make their day as full and comfortable as possible.

I use  my skills and knowledge to help develop all the care team, and  I am also one of the home’s Dementia Champion’s.

Hello my name is Hayley and I am a team leader at Spen court. I have worked here since 2017 initially on night shifts and then I became a team leader on days, a role that I love!

My passion is providing support for all the team and residents we look after. Outside of work I am a busy mum to 3 children

I have worked at Spen Court since November 2008, I deal with all aspects of the administration in the home to ensure it runs smoothly, I have built good relationships with residents, relatives and the team, I enjoy every day at Spen Court and love my job.

My name is Angela and I am the Head Activities Coordinator here at Spen Court. I get so much satisfaction out of knowing I have made a difference to people’s days and have filled the home with a sense of community and happiness.

We feel it is important to build community connections and maintain our resident’s social interaction outside the care home.

We ensure we deliver a person-centered program of events and activities and build strong relationships with our residents, their families and friends.

Hello. My name is Nik. I am the Head Chef here at Spen Court

Hi, My name is Mark and I am the Maintenance person for Spen Court, I have many years’ experience working in general maintenance, I am happy to help the residents with all their maintenance requirements and enjoy chatting to the residents as I go about my work.

I have worked at Spen Court since 2009, I love spending time with the residents especially when they want to help me with the domestic duties, myself and my team work hard every day to ensure the residents environment is clean, tidy and a relaxed space for them to socialise.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth, I am the recptionist here at Spen Court.

As Receptionist I greet the visiting friends and families, Professionals and potential new residents and their loved ones when I do a show round of our home. I love meeting people and making them feel welcome in the home.

Elaine has been nominated as Resident Ambassador as she is a very social lady who loves to participate and join in with the homes daily activities and liaises with staff members on behalf of her fellow residents.

Elaine loves to chat with family members and the homes professional visitors each time they visit.

Elaine is a bundle of fun and a pleasure to be around, hence why she was nominated for the role.

Hi,  my name is Katie  and I work as a  night Senior Care Assistant at Spen court. I have been in my role since 2017 when I joined the team.

I have worked in the care industry for many years and have a passion for caring for people.

Hello my name is Sarah and I have worked in the home since 2017. My role is that of Senior Care Assistant , a role I am dedicated to and I lead by example providing excellent care and support to both residents and staff.

I am currently undertaking my level 3 apprenticeship which will enhance my skills further.

Hi my name is Alfred and I am a member of the care team here at Spen Court. You will typically find me on our Memory Lane Community where I really enjoy, it’s exciting as no two shifts are the same and I like to work the night shift as it suits my lifestyle.

Hi, my name is Abs and I am a carer here at Spen Court. I love being a member of the care team at the home and thoroughly enjoy my job.

I like to make sure the need of our residents are met and that they are happy and smiling each day, it’s a joy to be spend time with them.

Hi, my name is Diane and I am a carer and really enjoy my job here at Spen Court. It keeps me busy at all times and the time goes quickly but it is such a rewarding job. 

We are an extended family here at the home and my husband also works in the home.

Hi, my name is Wendy and I have worked in the home for several years as a Care Assistant and no two days are ever the same, it’s such a rewarding job and I love what I do, especially spending time with and getting to know our residents.

Hi, I am Millie and I am a Care Assistant here at Spen Court. I have just starting worked in the health care industry and have a real passion for supporting the elderly, I am kind and empathetic and support all of our lovely residents.

Hello , Angela is Spen Court’s Second Chef,  Angela Joined the kitchen team in February 2022 as a Kitchen Assistant however it was evident that with her Qualifications, skills and dedication warranted her recent promotion to become the homes Second Chef. Our residents are delighted as they adore Angela’s wonderful cooking – especially her Roasties!

Hello, Kerrie is one of our Kitchen Assistants who has worked at Spen Court since November 2018.

Kerrie promotes the dining experience with  lots of lovely food for our residents and firmly believes that Nutrition is key to supporting a healthy lifestyle!

Hello, this is Jody who is one of the housekeeping team members at Spen Court. Jody has worked in the home since the summer of 2019 on a part time basis and loves her role , and also enjoys chatting to the residents.

HI, this is  Jessica, who  has worked at Spen Court since March 2022 in the role as one of our  housekeeper’s. Jessica prides herself on keeping  the home clean and tidy with high standards of cleanliness being paramount.

Hello, this is Abigail, who is one of our housekeeping team. Abigail joined the team here at Spen Court in August 2023, and helps to keep the home lovely and clean.  All bedrooms and communal areas are cleaned daily with a regular deep cleaning programme that keeps everywhere sparkling for our residents.
