Hi, my name is Julie, and I am the General Manager here at Ross Court. Welcome to our website!
I have been in the care sector for over 20 years, and I have worked for Barchester since 2018. I started off as a Senior Carer and have progressed to a manager in 3 years.
I am very passionate about my Job and like nothing more than spending time with the residents and getting to know them on a one-one basis. I believe in treating everyone as an individual and providing 5 star care. I also believe that family members have to be treated with the same respect, care and empathy as their relative I am looking after.
I work with a great team and we support each other and our residents.
Hi, my name is Louise and I joined Ross Court in July 2020 as Home Administrator. I have several years of experience in administration, but this is the first time within a care home. I am really enjoying my new role as I class myself as a people's person.
And so, I love being able to engage with the residents and their families. It brings a whole new dimension to my working day.
I have worked as a Chef for over 30 years and food is my passion. I have worked 20 years in fine dining and have worked as a Chef in a private boarding school. I feel that the post in the school helped prepare me for this post. I am aware that there are many dietary requirements within different sectors and enjoy finding ways to meet these needs while maintaining the highest quality of dining experience.
I like the quote "You are only as good as your last meal" I remind myself of this quote daily and take it as a personal challenge to ensure every meal is my best.
Hi, my name’s Josie and I am a Senior Carer at Ross Court. I’ve done the job for 4 years and am also the Infection Control Champion. When I’m not caring for the wonderful residents I enjoy an active lifestyle including hiking & biking in Wales or the Lake District.
Hi my name is Helena, I’ve worked here at Ross Court Care Home as a hostess for 8 years, I’ve made lots of friends from staff, relatives and residents. I have 20+ years working in hospitality and enjoy catering for people’s needs. Understanding their individual meal time likes and dislikes allows me to provide the quality service they deserve.
Hi, I’m Daiva, I’ve worked as a hostess at Ross Court for 3 years. I find every day here different and varied. I love my job and serving our wonderful residents.
Hi my name is Nia, I’ve recently joined Ross Court as a Care Assistant and I’m loving my return to care. My previous experience spans 10 years in other care homes, I’m so glad to be back it’s such a rewarding role.
Hi, I’m Brenda and I’ve been working as a carer at Ross Court for 21 years, initially starting here as the Catering Manager. I’m a chatterbox and enjoy learning all about our residents.
