Activities at Rose Water Place Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Georgia Williams
Hi, my name is Georgia and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Water Place.
I have done various roles in the care industry from being a carer, to activities, to administrator. I have enjoyed every role but I feel activities is my calling. I love making our residents smile and enjoy spending time with them and listening to every life story and ambition.
During Covid, I won a regional and national award for activities and had the opportunity to have afternoon tea in the House of Lords.
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

CARE HOME MANAGING DIRECTOR CELEBATES 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
We would like to congratulate our wonderful Managing Director, Natasha Lazovic, on her 10-year anniversary with Barchester Healthcare. Natasha had a huge surprise recently when Barchester’s CEO, Dr Pete Calveley, presented her with her 10 years’ service award and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Natasha joined Barchester in May 2014 as Regional Director leading 10 homes, which then doubled to 20 as Senior Regional Director, and now as MD she is in charge of more than 80 care homes across the South of England.
She leads us with amazing energy and a can-do attitude, she has also in recent months won the Businesswoman of the Year category in the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards 2023. There really is no stopping her!
Congratulations Natasha and thank you for everything you do to support us!

The Mayor & Mayoress' Visit
The Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Gordon Newton and Mrs Carol Newton, visited us at our marketing suite this morning.
We had a delightful time talking about all the events they have attended and the charities that they support, whist we drank tea and coffee and ate home made Victoria Sponge.

Our marketing suite is officially open!
And so the next step of our journey starts...
Our marketing suite is now officially open and we can't wait to meet you all.
