Meet the Raleigh Manor Care Home team

Our home wouldn’t be what it is today without the wonderful team who have consistently put in hard work and dedication to deliver a high level of care to everyone we support. It is important that our staff are able to build good relationships with residents, and are seen as approachable and always willing to have a chat.

Amanda Oxley

Senior General Manager

Hi, I'm Amanda, the Senior General Manager here at Raleigh Manor Care Home, and I would like to welcome you to our brand new home.

I have worked in the healthcare sector since 1998. I qualified at Luton University and worked at the NHS, specialising in surgical, rehab and end of life care. I have a degree in Critical Care Nursing and I am an experienced orthopaedic nurse. I have also spent time working in the private sector at a charitable hospital for the clergy in London and nursed for five years in Guernsey. I was promoted to General Manager at Newington Court in July 2016 and then moved to Raleigh Manor Care Home.

Christine

Deputy Manager

I have worked in the care sector for over 13 years and achieved my level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care within this time. My passion is making a positive difference to other's lives and to maintain individual's well-being. I am very passionate about my job and enjoy every moment of it.

Selina Sapsford

Home Services Advisor

My role here is to help anyone who is looking into moving into a care facility. It can be a very daunting process to go through, not knowing who to speak to, what questions to ask and whether you’re making the right decision.

I am extremely passionate about care and after a family member of mine was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia I made a career change and joined the care industry in 2011. (The best decision I’ve made) I have gained great knowledge and understanding of care and know how hard it is to make that decision to move into a care home. Through my knowledge and understanding I will help guide you every step of the way to make it as stress free as possible.

In my spare time you’ll find me out on long walks with my family and two dogs!!

I look forward to welcoming you to our amazing new home!
