Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Classic Vehicle Show
What a beautiful weekend we had! A brilliant time for the annual Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show at the Imperial Grounds.
A welcome opportunity for our residents to head down to the sea-front, reminisce, soak up the sun and eat ice-cream.
A great event raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance.
Thank you to the organisers, we loved it!
Bingo on the Patio
When the weather is just too good to spend it inside. What do you do? You take your Bingo session outside! Bingo is firm favourite and it was even better, in the sunshine and fresh air.
Summer Garden Party
Our annual summer Garden Party is something we all look forward to.
We celebrate in the summer sunshine. We dance and sing and pay tribute to another great year at Raleigh Manor.
Sand and Sea
We ventured out to enjoy our very first Exmouth Beach Wheelchairs adventure. The weather was perfect for a picnic by the sea. We got to feel the sand and the sea on our feet and take in the sea air.
For those struggling with mobility, this is a wonderful opportunity and thank you so much to the Exmouth Beach Wheelchairs for their brilliant service.
Treated to Tiny Hooves
Staff and residents alike at the Exmouth care home, Raleigh Manor were treated to a unique visit from new Exmouth based pony therapy company, Tiny Hooves. Minnie, the miniature Shetland pony was the celebrity guest and the smiles and cuddles flowed!
"It is not often you see a pony stepping out of the lift at Raleigh Manor” said Acting General Manager Skye Jones “The look on residents faces as Minnie stepped out to greet them was just priceless.”

It was so nice to welcome them back.
They are such wonderful, gentle creatures and a welcome return.

A Blast from the Past
Thank you to the wonderful team at World of Country Life for bringing their 1923 Morris Cowley Bull-nose down for our residents to have a close-up look at.
Looking very good for 102 years old!
We will be making a trip up to the World of Country Life in the near futures so they can see the rest of the extensive collection of vintage vehicles.
Shopping Expedition
Fields of Sidmouth is a well known local shopping institution.
It made for a wonderful afternoon outing for several of our most enthusiastic shoppers!
We will be back for sure!
