Meet the North Park Care Home Team

Hi, my name is Devon. I have worked in the healthcare sector for over 16 years and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. I started at North Park 2019 as a care assistant and I have worked my way up to Senior Carer and now Deputy Manager.

The quality of care that all my residents receive is my passion and I aim to ensure that my residents continue to live an independent and enriched life.  I look forward to building strong relationships with you all.

Hi, my name is Claire, and I am Lead Activities Coordinator at North Park. I first started doing activities in 2007 and fell in love with the job. I came to North Park in 2019 as lead Activities Coordinator.

I like to involve the local community in events within the home, so we have connections with local churches, schools and community groups. We have a PAT dog that visits weekly, so our residents can enjoy pet therapy, and lots of external entertainers, who come into the home regularly as well; in addition to fairs, monthly coffee mornings, family and friends events and so much more.

Hi, My name is Steve, I am Head of Maintenance here at North Park. I joined Barchester in December 2020 and my work background primarily consists of food manufacturing and looking after health and safety contractors. 

I really enjoy ensuring North Park is kept safe and well presented at all times. I love getting to know all the residents whilst working alongside the friendly staff. I am always here for whatever our residents need. 

Hi, my name is Juliette and I am Lead Senior Carer. I have been working for Barchester since 2004, I started at North Park Care Centre in 2006.

I started as a Senior Carer before becoming Lead Senior in 2022.  I am passionate about my job, I enjoy caring for our lovely residents and getting involved in all aspects of life in our home.

Hello, my name is Laura, I have worked as a care assistant at North Park Care Centre Since 2021, however I have worked in the care industry since doing work experience from school in 2001.

I enjoy my work especially interacting with the residents and love to see them smile. I always bring my children to North Park to support social events and the residents love to see them and watch them grow.

Hi I'm Sarah Roberts, I've worked at North Park since 2020 and enjoy every last minute of being a Healthcare Assistant.

I really enjoy meeting new residents and getting to know them, chatting to our residents throughout the day and finding out about the interesting lives they have led so far, they just make your job that bit more worthwhile.

Hi I’m Louise and have worked in the care industry since 2018 and for Barchester since March 2020 as a care assistant. I first came to North Park in 2019 as an agency carer but loved it here so much as soon as a full time job came up I applied and thankfully was accepted.

Since coming to North Park I have completed my level 3 in healthcare and hope to start training to become a senior carer in the near future. The best part of my job role is getting to know my residents and their families and giving them the best care possible.

Hi my name is Becky and I started working at North Park in January 2020 just before the Covid pandemic hit.

Before starting here I worked in Homecare and Hospitality however since becoming part of the North Park team I feel caring for others is my true vocation.

I love interacting with all the residents and making them happy and have almost completed my training to become a Senior Carer.

Hi, my name is Jade and I am a General Assistant here at North Park, my role involves working across all departments in the home.

I love this job as I get to see residents from different sides. I especially enjoy listening to them sharing stories from their lives.

Hi my name is Carol and I am the homes administrator, I joined Barchester in 2020. In my role I deal with all aspects of the administration of the home to ensure it runs smoothly, from invoicing, ordering, recruitment, setting up contracts to manning the phones. There is never a dull day!

Hi my name is Diane, I am the Head Chef at North Park. I have been a chef for 38 years and there is nothing I would rather do. I knew I wanted to be a chef since I was eight year old as both my mam and gran were fantastic home bakers and my dad was a restaurateur.

I love creating tasty and wholesome dishes for residents and am looking forward to getting to know the residents here, their likes and dislikes and will be involving them in all aspects of creating new menus.

Hi, my name is JoJy Joseph, I am the Head Housekeeper at North Park Care Centre. I started working for Barchester at North Park in 2019 as a domestic Assistant and became Head Housekeeper in 2021.

I enjoy mixing with our residents, getting to know them,  having daily chats and making sure they are as comfortable and happy  as I possibly can.

Hello my name is Jenefer and I am a Lead Senior Carer at North Park. I came over to England from the Philippines where I was a Midwife in 2004 to work for Barchester. I started to work at North Park immediately as a Senior carer and have never looked back.

I have built a good rapport with other health professionals in the area and always strive to do my best for my residents. I enjoy taking part in the social activities and events within the home and enjoy showing off my cooking talents on  our ‘taster days’

Hi my name is Marie Noble and I have been a care assistant at North Park for five months.

I love knowing I’m making a difference in other people’s lives, weather it is our residents or their families. I love chatting to our residents and see them smiling. Caring for other people and working for Barchester with the team at North Park makes me feel valued.

My name is Delia Taylor, I have been a care assistant at North Park for one year. Previously, I worked as a community carer in the Darlington area. Originally from the Philippines, I have worked in Taiwan and Abu Dhabi but I am now permanently settled in the UK.

I have experienced other jobs and differing roles, but I mostly enjoy my time in care work particularly the interactions and friendships I have with my residents and colleagues. Every day you're helping someone in need and making their lives that little bit easier, it is fulfilling and most rewarding

Hi, my name is Judy, I started working at North Park in 2021 and it was the first time I had worked in care. I enjoyed assisting the residents from my first day and have continued to do so. Since being here I have gained my level 2 in health and social care and will be starting level 3 before the end of the year.

My favourite part is seeing the smiles on my residents faces every day.

Hello, my name is Andrew. I have worked at North Park for over 5 years but have been in the care industry for around 16 years. I mainly work as a domestic here at North Park but also work as a carer within the home as well as being able to drive the home bus when needed.

I absolutely love working at North Park. I have great rapport with our clients, colleagues and management.
