Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Activities Coordinator
Hi, my name is Jo Henderson and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Moors Manor.
I am looking forward to bringing my creative side to the home as I was previously a florist and baker and look forward to us making lots of lovely treats for us all to enjoy.
When at home Jo is a mother to two wonderful daughters and also a pet mum to labrador Marley.
I cannot wait to welcome our residents into their wonderful new home and help to bring smiles, joy and laughter to each day.

We adore our fitness sessions here at Moors Manor and 'Love to Move' is one of our absolute favourites.
Katie gets our hearts pumping, our muscles moving and makes us feel great for the day ahead!

Artists at Work!
Today was an artistic afternoon of water colour painting in the garden.
We thoroughly enjoyed making summer themed pictures whilst enjoying the gorgeous sun in our open garden space.
Getting a little sporty!
We have some real talents here when it comes to sports in the home and today was no different.
Jenny put us all to shame with her table tennis skills this afternoon. We weren't even close to matching her score!
A very content Birthday Girl!
We do love a birthday here at Moors Manor and so do our amazing chefs!
Today Jenny got to have her wish of the chocolatiest birthday cake ever from our chef Boris!
Just the look on her face says it all!
Sunshine + Ice Lollies
Another sunny day calls for another sunny day activity.
Today we chopped fruit, mixed with yoghurt and made our very own ice lollies. We enjoyed them that afternoon in the glorious sunshine of our garden!
Baking and food related activities are a real favourite and one we always try to fit to any weather or occasion.
Summer Fayre Frolics!
What a fantastic day we had at our Moors Manor summer Fayre!
Live entertainment from two amazing artists, local stall holders and an in-house BBQ!
Families, friends and residents had an absolute blast inthe sunshine!
Garden Afternoons loved by all!
The weather truly has been exceptional and so we have been making the most of our gorgeous garden space.
Today we enjoyed a garden tea party under the shaded canopy. We really do know how to live!
Moors Manor does Birthdays!
We had a fabulous time celebrating June's Birthday this weekend.
Bee Chumley vocalist did a fantastic performance and the cake really was spectacular!

The sun well and truly has it's hat on this week and we never need any persuasion to spend the day taking in the rays!
Our beautiful garden really has been a god send in this gorgeous weather.
