Hi, my name is Bekky, and I am the General Manager here at The Meadowbeck. Welcome to our website!
Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Meadowbeck has to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.
I am responsible for running this beautiful, purpose-built home and my passion is to provide an outstanding service for those that we support in a warm and pleasant environment. We look forward to you visiting us.
I have worked for Barchester for 4 years and was previously the Home Administrator for almost 2 years before being appointed to the role of General Manager in March 2020.
I am a qualified nurse of many years, and I have been working in care homes since 1994.
I care passionately about the elderly and have great amount of respect for them. I strive to promote independence and deliver high quality, person-centred care.
I am trained to provide dementia and palliative care.
I am a Unit Manager on our Memory Lane community here at Meadowbeck, and I have worked here since 1994. I started working as a Care Assistant, then went on to do my NVQ Level 3 and passed my care practitioner course in 2016, eventually being promoted to Unit Manager in 2019.
I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1996 and I have worked in various hospitals in the Caribbean, and as a Deputy Matron in George Town Hospital in Guyana. I then migrated to the UK in 2001 and have worked for Barchester ever since. I have great respect for the elderly and I am passionate about providing person-centred care.
Hi, I am Annaliza the Deputy Manager here at Meadowbeck Care Home. I am originally from the Philippines. I completed a BSC in nursing in 1994 and I now have over 20 years’ experience in general nursing. I am a dedicated, hardworking, compassionate and conscientious nurse, and I pride myself on my professionalism whilst carrying out my work duties.
I believe in establishing trust and building a good relationship with residents, loved ones, staff and other care professionals, which enables me to provide the best care for those living here at Meadowbeck Care Home.
Hi, I’m Tina, and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Meadowbeck.
I began working at the home as a Care Assistant in 1999. In 2014, I changed my role to Social Support Worker, which I enjoyed, as it involved supporting residents at Meadowbeck in their daily lifestyles.
I then became the Activities Coordinator in May 2017. I love working with the elderly and getting to know them and their families, in addition to supporting them in their active lifestyles to make their time at Meadowbeck as enjoyable as possible.
Hi, I am Daniela and I am the Home Administrator here at Meadowbeck Care Home, I am originally from Romania and I started my Administrator career 10 years ago after graduating the University of Economics. I had the opportunity to continue my career in UK and I am happy that I could join the lovely team at Meadowbeck and do what I love. I enjoy working with people and help them in my best possible way.
My job is to maintain the home and gardens at Meadowbeck.
I enjoy working around the home and gardens.
Tracey manages team of 8 staff to ensure that the home is clean, fresh and inviting at all times and is responsible for providing a full laundry service for all residents. Having joined the home 15 years ago it is the 'family' feel to the home that has kept her with us!
