I have been a qualified nurse since 1996 and I have gained a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in the nursing field since then. I feel privileged to be a part of such a lovely, caring, friendly and hardworking team.
My journey with Barchester commenced in 2015, when I started work as a staff Nurse. In that same year, I was promoted to Deputy Manager & Clinical lead.
Throughout the years, I have been supporting sister homes in the company, eventually ending up at Meadowbeck.
I feel really privileged to be a part of such a lovely, caring, friendly and hardworking team here at Meadowbeck, where care and compassion are key values.
I have an open door policy, so please feel free to pop in to have a chat.

Hi, I’m Tina, and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Meadowbeck.
I began working at the home as a Care Assistant in 1999. In 2014, I changed my role to Social Support Worker, which I enjoyed, as it involved supporting residents at Meadowbeck in their daily lifestyles.
I then became the Activities Coordinator in May 2017. I love working with the elderly and getting to know them and their families, in addition to supporting them in their active lifestyles to make their time at Meadowbeck as enjoyable as possible.
Kirk and his team create a nutritious, variable and tasty menu in the home, catering for all types of palate. Ingredients are sourced locally for freshness and quality and with Kirk having a culinary arts background, and worked all over the world, he brings some great ideas and creativity to the team. What he loves about his job is being able to 'give something back' and help our residents with developing diets to suit and tempt them.
My job is to maintain the home and gardens at Meadowbeck.
I enjoy working around the home and gardens.
