"My aunt moved into Harton Grange over two years ago after a spell in hospital and long term ailments, including dementia. Her mood fluctuated significantly due to dementia and could at times be annoyed with staff and other residents. Her carers' handled these challenging situations with grace and care and always tried to respect the dignity and independence of my aunt. My aunt received high quality care throughout her stay and developed a genuine affection for some of her carers. Sadly, my aunt passed away over the Christmas period. I greatly appreciated the experience of staff who have been through this obviously challenging situation. At all times, I felt my aunt was in safe and genuinely caring hands. Members of staff attended my aunt's funeral which demonstrates the level and type of care she received from a committed, experienced and caring staff."

"My family member moved here from another care home and the change in her was noticed very quickly. We could see an improvement in her physically and mentally. She began to regain weight and colour and joined in some of the activities which previously would never have happened."

My mother in law Hilda was cared for by the Harton Grange team. Outstanding efforts of support and kindness were given to her during her 6.5years residency. The care team and senior management worked with the family to ensure that Hilda was listened to. They developed care change as and when her senile dementia required and respected her as an individual throughout, sometimes this was very challenging for them. My husband and I cannot thank Harton Grange Care home enough.

"My sister moved into Harton Grange in August 2025 and she has received exceptional care and attention. All of the staff are very helpful and attentive and we know she is in a caring and safe environment."

"Although this review relates primarily to my mam's 90th birthday celebrations, it is important to mention that in the weeks leading up to this day my mam's sleeping and eating routines were totally out of sync. So much so that when family visited there was very little quality time as she just wanted to sleep. It was only through the patience and perseverance of the carers that on the day of her birthday she was up and raring to go, her routines back to normal. They arranged balloons, barriers, cake and candles to mark her 90th birthday. She was thrilled. The family, with the help of the Care Home, arranged for a singer to come and entertain us all, including other residents. We all, especially mam, had a fantastic time. I can't thank the care home enough for making my mam's birthday a very special day. One that we will all treasure. I find all the care home staff very helpful with any concerns I have. Even when some of my concerns are due to my unwillingness to accept what the Dementia is doing to my mam, they are so understanding and willing to listen which I very much appreciate."

Truly outstanding care home - the team are lovely, very friendly and have a great relationship with everyone! The home itself is immaculate and is very well maintained. They have regular events on which is amazing for everyone living there. I would honestly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic care home.

I have looked at Care homes in the area for my father and this Carehome is by far the best. The care home is beautifully furnished and everywhere is spotless.
The staff are amazing and work very hard and are very friendly and approachable.They know what my father likes and dislikes.
The manager Judith, is so lovely and Deputy Manager Bev to.Anything i want help with they have been on hand to help me.
They have regular entertainment,and plenty of things to do for the Carehome residents.Matthew the Activities Coordinator works very hard for the residents,he is so lovely with the residents knowing what they all like as an individuals and knowing everyone personally.
A big thanks to the Cooks,Cleaners ,Laundry staff who all do an incredible job.A special thank you to Claire who has helped with paperwork and given me lots of good advice.
All residents are treat with the upmost respect,im so happy i have chosen Harton Grange for my Father.
