The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and welcoming, creating a homely environment for residents. Communication with families is excellent, and it’s clear that residents’ dignity and wellbeing are always a priority. "Delighted to visit Fairview yesterday & find decorations & lots of effort to celebrate my in-laws 65th wedding anniversary. They were made to feel so special & lots of staff & service users joined in. The cake, fizz & genuine warmth was very much appreciated & made the whole family including those in N.Z., Australia and Canada all feel involved."

"I have found Barchester Fairview House Care Home have provided excellent, effective care to my father-in-law over the period he has lived here. The staff are very attentive to all his needs and have developed very good relationships with him allowing him to have the best quality of life it is possible for him to have. The staff keep us well informed and ensure that we are consulted. His health and wellbeing have improved greatly and we are very grateful for the care he receives and the amazing effort of the staff to provide care and support to him. Thank you all."

"My brother who suffers from Parkinsons desease has bean a resident at Fairview for over a year, he has mood swings and mobility problems but the staff seem to keep him smiling, he is always clean and shaved and when he cant manage through to the dining room they take his meals into his room for him. He is well fed with a varied menu."

My Sister has health issues that makes her very reliant on the staff, they are all wonderful to her and they all go out of their way to make her comfortable.
She has been made very welcome and all the staff take the time to speak with her which has made the transition for her much easier.
When she has had a health issue they are very quick to respond and sort it out with external health providers.
The Management are also extremely approachable, they have all made my sister and myself feel comfortable talking with them.
I can’t express how much I respect the work they all do to make the residents feel at home.
The whole place is a credit to the manager.
I feel confident about my sisters well being and her care.

We asked if possible to sit outside with my mum if weather was fine, but was offered a private room and a proper meal. My wife had beef burger & chips and myself & mum had fish & chips. The meals were perfect and I actually left some as portion was massive. Left room for a pudding. Again excellent. Finished with a cuppa tea

"Carers observed my husband looked hot and was shaking temperature was very high so Docs were called. The staff during my husbands illness was excellent, They regularly checked his temperature, looked to see if he needed changed, due to sweatingm and made sure he was given drinks and liquid food. I have every confidence in his care at Fairview Thank you!"

"My father was a resident. Sadly it was only for 8 weeks but the experience changed all our lives. The care received was beyond our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. My father suffered from dementia but he clearly loved and trusted those caring for him. Nursing staff were quick to respond to his medical needs. In his final hours I saw staff care not only for him but also my mother. We were all treated like family. The home is spotlessly clean and very welcoming."

"The lovely sping flowers at the front door makes the care home a welcoming place to visit. The staff are all so kind and thoughtful not only to my husband also to myself, family and visiting friends. Since my husband has been a resident the staff has spent time to get him back eating and drinking again. A big turn around in 5 weeks. Food is good and plenty of choice as I have stayed for lunch. To the manager and all staff a big thank you fo rall the care and I'm so happy to see a smile on my husbands face which is a big relief for me."

"Since my friends husband was admitted to Fairview House I am amazed at the improvement in his physical condition. Prior to him coming here his appetite was non-existent but now he is eating very well. He has good interactions with all staff."

"Overall, I find the staff very friendly and welcoming. The residents seem to enjoy various activities that the home have on. My dad seems settled here and he enjoys the food and gets on well with staff members."

"I have seen an improvement overall in the past four weeks. The homes welcoming and the staff are more friendly. The nursing staff are excellent. The corridors in the wings do not have that "distinctive" nursing home smell so often. Overall, quite happy with the care being provided."

"The staff are very friendly. Lots of activities to keep the residents amused. My grandad seems settled here and we know he’s safe. The staff are very welcoming. The food looks nice. It’s reassuring for the family, knowing that Grandad enjoys it here."
