Elm Bank Care Home in Kettering
Elm Bank Care Home is nestled in the 'Rose of the Shires', Northamptonshire, We are local to Kettering town centre, easily accessible by car and bus for visiting family, and not far from Wicksteed Park. At Elm Bank, we provide a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from respite care to 24-hour residential care.
Dementia Care
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
Our beautiful bedrooms are set across four suites with a number of communal lounges, dining rooms, and relaxing gardens, meaning peace and quiet is never far away.
The home also includes a Grade II listed mansion, which has been beautifully transformed into luxury assisted living accommodation. This accommodation is suitable for individuals who are still very independent and simply wish to have a little help with some everyday personal care. We have a wonderful private courtyard, a patio area and a Victorian summer house, perfect for fresh air and socialising.

Our Team
The dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality care to each individual living at the home.

Jessica Pateman
Hi. My name is Jess and I am the General Manager at Elm Bank. My main goal is to make sure everyone in our home - residents, staff, family and visitors – feel they are in a welcoming environment and are being supported in every way. I have always had a passion to care for others due to personal experiences in my early life. I make an effort to stay in regular contact with residents’ relatives, to make sure the family also receives support and information from us, and so we can answer any queries as swiftly as possible.
I began my career as a Carer for the Isle of Man Government and then trained to be a Senior Social Care Worker. I completed my NVQ Level 3 in Care and was working towards a care management qualification before moving to the UK.
I joined Brampton View Care Home in Northampton - one of our sister homes - in 2019 as a Senior Care Assistant, with a focus on lifting the atmosphere with positivity and providing the highest quality care within the home. I was soon promoted to Head of the Residential Unit, working alongside the clinical team and managing the care team on the unit. I also managed the Housekeeping Team including cleaning, laundry and infection control. Towards the end of 2019 I became Deputy Manager at Brampton View where I developed my skills further and benefited from a range of learning opportunities. In 2020 I was delighted to be promoted to General Manager at Elm Bank.
When I am not working I enjoy improving my academic and other skills, such as playing the piano, or cooking new recipes, and I also enjoy spending time with loved ones.
