Chester Court Care Home in Bedlington
Chester Court is a 41-bedded, purpose-built nursing home situated in the heart of Bedlington, a picturesque former mining village, within easy travelling distance of both Newcastle and Tynemouth.
The home offers services to people with a variety of complex needs, including frail older people, people with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease and people who are minimally conscious.
Chester Court’s care is based on careful assessment and care planning, using the homes strong links to local primary care services where necessary, and planned on the basis of risks, needs and maximising independence and quality of life. Well-trained and well-supervised specialist staff work together with residents and their relatives towards planned goals. A relative also told the visiting inspector, “The care is very good, I even recommend it to other people.”
Why not call in and see us in action for yourself? If we can help with advice we will be happy to do so.

Types of care
Chester Court provides person-centred nursing and residential care for the elderly and those with physical disabilities. We work with individuals and their families to identify all individual care requirements. It is important to our team that the care we provide is of the highest quality for each resident and allows them to maintain their individuality. We also have regular visits from opticians and chiropodists or, alternatively, provide transport to a specialist of their choice. We offer a variety of outings for residents as we realise the importance of maintaining links in the local community.
