General Manager

Hi, my name is Helen, and I am the General Manager here at Chester Court. Welcome to our website!

Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Chester Court has to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.

I am responsible for running this beautiful, purpose-built home and my passion is to provide an outstanding service for those that we support in a warm and pleasant environment.

I have worked for Barchester for a number of years as a Clinical Development Nurse and look forward to you visiting us.

Ann Ducat

Home Administrator

My name is Ann and I joined Chester Court in 2004. I love my job; it's busy but never boring! My role is to support the General Manager by maintaining administration and financial systems within the home in accordance to the company policies and procedures.

Activities Coordinator

My name is Geoff and I have been working at Chester Court Care Home since 2015. My previous roles have included a school caretaker and running my own pub. Working in the care sector has been the most personally rewarding position I have ever held. My role as an Activities Coordinator ensures that residents have as much fun at the home as possible.

Head Chef

I am the Head Chef at Chester Court Care Home and have been part of the catering department for over 15 years. My role involves preparing nutritious and well-balanced meals for everyone we support. All of our food is home-cooked with fresh ingredients.

Ellen Ferry

Housekeeper

My name is Ellen and I have 16 years experience working in the care home environment. I began working as a Care Assistant for 8 years and was then asked if I would like the position of Housekeeper. I have worked in this role for 8 years and my responsibilities are managing both the housekeeping and laundry teams. Chester Court Care home is kept clean and presentable at all times and a prompt laundry service is delivered.

Maintenance Manager

I have worked at Chester Court since 2011 and have loved every minute. I spent 15 years in the building trade before coming to Chester Court Care Home, so I have a wide range of skills that are always being used.

My job is to keep the home and grounds looking their best, making sure each room is as individual as the residents' themselves.
