Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Sea Shanty singing at Burwood Grange
We had a lovely treat yesterday at Burwood Grange when we welcomed the Sea Shanty group to come and sing a wide variety of sea shanty songs for us all.
Big Quiz Live Virtual Event
We often have Barchester Virtual Live events at Burwood Grange and this afternoon it was the Big quiz. We link up with different Barchester homes and have good fun trying to win the contest. Its also a favourite with the staff
Finalist for Prestigious National Awards
The whole team at Burwood Grange Care Home are so proud to be shortlisted for not one but two Design Health care Awards. We have been chosen out of hundreds of entries from across the country. Its so wonderful for the home to be recognised.
Pamper Day at Burwood Grange
Wednesdays is always Pamper Day where our ladies and gents can have their hair done by Delia and also their nails manicured and painted if they wish.
Birthdays and Music
We very lucky yesterday to have not one but two birthdays at Burwood Grange Care Home. The ladies had a lovely pamper day then a special lunch with their families. The part really got in full swing when Denny came to entertain us with toe tapping songs.

Today we celebrated the Birthday of one of our newest residents. Staff and residents sang happy birthday and then enjoyed a lovely slice of home made chocolate cake with their afternoon cuppa

Ballroom dancing with Simon
Back by popular demand. Simon is coming back to show us some new dance moves and have us all up on the floor.
Summer is here time for a party
This year we are going all things Beach and seaside for our annual Summer Party.
We will have our shorts and shades on and hope the sun is shining for us.
