Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Care Home Manager and administrator shortlisted for Stars of Social Care Awards
Barchester’s Burwood Grange care home in Walton On Thames are celebrating because their General Manager Dacre Lassauniere and Administrator Isaac D’Souza have been shortlisted in the Inspirational Care Home Manager Award and Awesome Ancillary Worker Awards category of the Stars of Social Care Awards. This award category is specifically to reward care workers that go above and beyond to offer their residents exceptional service.
Happy Birthday David
Best Wishes to David and a very Happy Birthday. David was joined by his daughter to help him celebrate his special day and we all wish him many happy returns.....
The cake was delicious baked by our very own chef and enjoyed with a lovely cup of tea and a glass of Fizz
The Shop is Open
Our lovely resident Joan expressed a wish to open a little shop at the home selling toiletries and chocolates etc, and so today we opened the shop and within half an hour the residents were buying their own tissues and sweets
Dementia Disco is a big hit !!
Wow what an amazing day at our Dementia Disco with three of our sister homes joining us along with families and friends.
We all put our dancing shoes on and had a lot of fun

We are have a party! What a lovely day celebrating VE Day. With a lovely melody of classic war songs from our entertainer and then a buffet lunch in the garden.
