Activities at Burwood Grange Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Activities Lead

Hello I am Mandip and I am the Activities Coordinator at Burwood Grange Care Home.

In 2017, I moved into the care sector — and it has been the best decision I ever made.

To me, this role is far more than just planning things to do. It is about respecting every resident’s story, their history and their unique personality. I believe the most meaningful activities come from understanding what matters to each person — their past work, hobbies, memories and interests. Whether supporting those living with dementia or our fully independent residents, my aim is to bring purpose, joy and a sense of achievement to every day. Seeing a smile, hearing a story shared, or watching someone feel valued and engaged makes all the difference.

I enjoy unwinding through crochet design — a quiet, creative craft that reminds me how much we can achieve with patience and care — and taking nature walks, where I find peace and inspiration.

I am so proud to be part of the team at Burwood Grange, and I look forward to getting to know every resident and their family, and making each day here a little brighter.
