"Dad has been a resident at Ashford House now for over a year. I cannot fault his care, the staff are amazing and when he came down recently with an illness it was diagnosed really quickly and medical care was sought immediately. Dad particularly likes the entertainment that's put on regularly throughout the week and the meals they serve our great. I cannot recommend this home enough."

"I'm so relieved that I've found such a lovely home for my Dad. The rooms are clean, the food is superb and most importantly that staff are warm and friendly. My Dad is very content here and I would highly recommend this home to anyone with the difficult decision of making the change for their loved ones."

"I cannot praise highly enough the amount of work and attention to detail that the ladies of housekeeping and activities put into the themed fete, they deserve a massive thank you for all the smiling faces of the residents. I think all the staff do the best they can for the residents and their families. I would like to see higher carer ratio to residents."

I have been a frequent visitor to Ashford House attending some wo derful events.
The staff are wonderful starting as soon as you walk on with a warm friendly welcome from the lovely Sheila on reception.
The home is always clean and tidy and and the residents look happy 😊

Brilliant care home. They always have great fundraising events, ensuring the residents have fun and enjoy themselves. Family fun days are always popular as everyone gets together and enjoys the entertainment. Excellent staff from carers to house keeping. Would highly recommend

When you enter you will be warmly greeted by the staff and they offer you tea and coffee
As you enter units it’s odour free with warm welcome by the caring staff
The residents are well looked after with smile on their faces

I visited barchester ashford care home recently and was really impressed. The manager was super friendly, the staff have been there for years, and the place was very clean. They have loads of activities for the residents, including pet therapy, which was lovely to see. It had such a warm and welcoming vibe!

"My Aunt has been Resident at Ashford House since April 2024. She has been looked after very well and all the staff treat her with such affection, kindness and care. Lots of good communication and activities. My Aunt looks safe and content."

"The level of care, kindness and compassion shown towards my husband was outstanding while he was in respite. Nothing was too much trouble especially if I asked for help or assistance. I personally would recommend Ashford House and all its team as exceptional. I am so pleased my husband was accepted to be in this care home."

"My brother and I arrived to go through our mother's care plan. We were welcomed as always by happy and lovely staff. We were offered tea/coffee and cakes as always and advised to always help ourselves. The care plan was very accurate and detailed which was excellent! We all agreed Mum has settled very well. We couldn't be happier that Mum is in great care at Ashford House. Thank you!"

"I am very happy with the care my mum receives at Ashford House. She is very happy and the carers and all staff are brilliant. There is plenty of different entertainment going on; fetes, animals visiting and trips out in the minibus. There's a small shop/shed in the garden where all toiletries, cards etc. are free for residents. Would definitely recommend this place 100%."
