Meet the Seaview House Care Home team
Our wonderful team comprises nurses, carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. These people are here to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet some of our staff below:
Hi, my name is Wendy, and I am the general manager here at Seaview House. Welcome to our website!
I am originally from England, and moved with my family to Scotland in 2006. I started my career in the healthcare sector at age 18 and worked as a carer in a nursing home. Throughout my nurse training I regularly worked in this sector and, as a qualified nurse, often supported care homes in their provision of care.
I qualified as a nurse in 1996 and worked in emergency mental health team throughout the first 10 years of my nursing career. In that time, I developed a collaborative leadership style, and later on worked as a team leader for a specialist crisis intervention team in Southport.
The most rewarding part of my job is the relationships I have developed with residents, their family members and the staff who help support the people who live here. I am delighted that, through our provision of person-centred care, we have developed a homely atmosphere and a place people like to live in.
I trained as a nurse in Romania and moved the Scotland and to Seaview over 10 years ago, working my way up from Staff Nurse to Head of Unit since that time. I am passionate about the work we do and strive each day to work with staff, residents and their families to ensure the best standard of care is achieved.

Barbara has been the Administrator at Seaview since 2013. She has many years’ experience in administration, formerly working at the head office of a Highland haulage firm for over 20 years before joining Seaview.
