Ritson Lodge Care Home in Great Yarmouth

Ritson Lodge Care Home is situated in the picturesque village of Hopton-On-Sea, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful coastline of Norfolk.

Residential Care

The home has been specifically designed to provide high quality residential care to older people, including those living with dementia. Alongside this, we also offer respite care and short breaks, which can now be booked up to a year in advance. Our team of qualified and dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of each resident and are committed to providing quality care in a warm and homely environment.

Our high standards are reflected across all aspects of life at Ritson Lodge, including our hospitality, food and activities services. Our skilled chefs are passionate about providing wonderful food that is both tasty and nutritious, whilst our activities coordinators work hard to build extensive social programmes that are tailored to the interests and needs of those we support.

Dementia Care

The home's specialist Memory Lane Community utilises a careful blend of skills and techniques developed by leading experts in the field of dementia care, incorporating person-centred design in its use of colour and cues to help individuals navigate through the home, Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood.

Hello, my name is Siobhan and I am the General Manager here at Ritson Lodge.

My background is actually Nursing and I am passionate about providing exemplary care and a wonderful homely experience for those who choose to make Ritson Lodge their home.

As our loved ones grow older and require more support in their day to day lives I can fully appreciate how hard it can be for everyone involved and my highly qualified team and I are always here to support you throughout this journey.

Our team here at Ritson Lodge are dedicated to guaranteeing that all of our residents are treated with dignity, respect and attention - whilst at the same providing a varied life enrichment activities programme and delicious home cooked food too!

I am so proud to be working with our team here at Ritson Lodge and it is a real pleasure to get to know our residents, their families and all of our home community friends too.
