Oana Lupu

Welcome to Oaklands Care Home website, my name is Oana Lupu and I am the General Manager. I hope you find everything you're looking for!

I have been a General Registered Nurse for over 10 years and joined Barchester Healthcare as a unit manager at Hilton Park Care Home in 2015.  Since joining Barchester, I have worked my way up to home clinical lead, Deputy Manager and in May 2022 I was offered and accepted the position of Acting General Manager for Oaklands Care Home.

During my time with Barchester, I have always worked closely with Oaklands Care Home and was delighted to be given the opportunity to work alongside a group of dedicated staff who with their wealth of knowledge and commitment give Oaklands the unique warm family atmosphere they are so well known for.

I am passionate about working with the elderly and those living with dementia and am focused on providing the best possible care for them. I strongly believe that there is always something we can do to improve the quality of life for our residents.
