Oana Lupu
General Manager
Welcome to Oaklands Care Home website, my name is Oana Lupu and I am the General Manager. I hope you find everything you're looking for!
I have been a General Registered Nurse for over 10 years and joined Barchester Healthcare as a unit manager at Hilton Park Care Home in 2015. Since joining Barchester, I have worked my way up to home clinical lead, Deputy Manager and in May 2022 I was offered and accepted the position of Acting General Manager for Oaklands Care Home.
During my time with Barchester, I have always worked closely with Oaklands Care Home and was delighted to be given the opportunity to work alongside a group of dedicated staff who with their wealth of knowledge and commitment give Oaklands the unique warm family atmosphere they are so well known for.
I am passionate about working with the elderly and those living with dementia and am focused on providing the best possible care for them. I strongly believe that there is always something we can do to improve the quality of life for our residents.

Cristina Monville

Cristina is a registered nurse and joined Barchester in March 2004. I work with great patience and empathy ensuring the best quality of care is given throughout our home.

Beata is the unit manager for Elms Unit. She is known to us all as Bea and qualified as a nurse more than 30 years ago. She has a Master's degree in nursing and specialises in oncology and organ transplants.
After immigrating to the United Kingdom, she worked in London for 17 years until she got married and moved to join her husband in Essex. Beata worked with stroke victims and residents living with dementia for over 7 years, and so we were delighted when she joined Oaklands in October 2022.
