Meet the Oaklands Care Home team

Our wonderful team comprises nurses, carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. These people are here to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet some of our staff below:

Geanina Tinca

General Manager

Hello, my name is Geanina, and I am the General Manager here at Oaklands Care Home. Welcome to our website!

I qualified as a Nurse over 14 years ago and joined Barchester as a General Manager in 2107.

Caring for frail older people has always been very close to my heart and myself, and my team here at Oakands are committed to ensure that all of our residents receive the highest quality care at all times.

It is hugely rewarding to be able to support our residents and help them to lead fully enriched lives in their new home. I cannot praise my team enough and it gives me great pleasure to help mentor and develop their nursing careers with Barchester too!

I have always believed in a very “hands on” approach to running a home, as I feel that it is the best way to build relationships and get to thoroughly know our residents even more.

My door is always open to anyone, even if only for a cup of tea and a chat! If I can be of any help with your care enquiry, please do not hesitate to contact our home and I will do my upmost to assist you in whatever way I can.

Cristina Monville

Cristina Monville

Deputy Manager

Cristina is a registered nurse and joined Barchester in March 2004. She has worked for the company in a variety of different roles and, in October 2018, she was promoted from Senior Clinical Lead to Deputy Manager of Oaklands. Her role is diverse and she hopes to use the experience and knowledge she has gained to empower the team to deliver the high standards of care expected throughout Barchester.

Jurgita Deltuviene

Unit Manager

I have been working as a nurse for over 20 years. I have experience in ICU, mental health and elderly care. I am currently working in Willow Drive, which is a unit for younger physically disabled residents. I love my job and by brilliant team.

Constantin Ulian

Clinical Lead

Although I joined Barchester in September 2020, I have worked in a number of roles throughout my nursing career. I feel very passionate about my work and the difference the home makes to the residents' difficult journey through dementia.

Richard Baker

Head Chef

 I have been in the catering field for over 35 years but joined the Barchester group in 2019 as a second chef. In May 2021, I was promoted to Head Chef at Oaklands and I am looking forward to the road ahead.

David Swindlehurst

David Swindlehurst

Head of Maintenance

David joined Oaklands in May 2018 and is striving to deliver the right first time impression for all the residents, their families and friends by giving them the home and garden they deserve; one where they can feel relaxed and at home in.

Jester Liwag

Jester Liwag

Head of Housekeeping

Jester joined the company in July 2011 and worked his way up the ladder to the Head of Housekeeping by January 2016. Jester manages the housekeeping and laundry team here at Oaklands and, although he's only young, he is extremely ambitious and has managed to build up a strong team who have tremendous pride in their work.

Charles Cook

Charles Cook

Gardener

Charles Cook has been the Gardener here at Hilton Park since 2009 and is well loved by the residents. He is a wildlife enthusiast and keen photographer. Charles takes great pride in the extensive grounds of Hilton Park and has designed our beautiful rose beds, relaxing gardens and fantastic views from the resident's rooms. He has also created the wonderful wildlife pond in our main garden, which is a favourite place for residents and visitors as it is a beautiful, tranquil spot to rest.

Jane Kennedy

Administrator

Jane joined Oaklands as a receptionist in 2009. She began taking on Administrative roles within the Company and now holds the post of Administrator, leading a team of Administrative Assistants.
