Geanina Tinca

General Manager

Hi, my name is Geanina and I am the General Manager here at Oaklands. Welcome to our website!

I qualified as a nurse in general medicine in 2016. I started my career working with older people in 2010 and was appointed as the General Manager of Oaklands in May 2017.

I find working with people living with dementia to be most rewarding and I am extremely proud of our team. They have worked hard and, as a result, have been awarded the 'Team of the Year'  award twice at the Barchester Care Awards.

I believe in on a very 'hands-on' approach to running the home, as I feel that it is the best way to build relationships and get to know residents really well.

My door is always open to anyone and I look forward to welcoming you into our home.

Sally’s main role is focusing on improving residents' quality of life here. She aims to have something for everyone, ranging from trips out in our minibus to afternoon tea in the garden, and much more.

Sally and her team are currently building strong connections with the local community by interacting with the Royal British Legion, Red2Green (a charitable organisation here in our village) and the local children’s clubs.
