Meadowbeck Care Home in Osbaldwick, York
Located in Osbaldwick village, Meadowbeck is on the outskirts of the beautiful and historic city of York. The home is also set in landscaped gardens, and friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any time of the day. Meadowbeck is a modern, purpose-build home that provides a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from respite care to 24-hour nursing care.
Dementia Care
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
We are proud to have a team of long-serving and highly-qualified staff, who are committed to providing care that affords the best possible alternative for those who are no longer able to manage at home. Our aim is to empower residents to regain independence, choice and freedom in their lives, in a safe and comfortable setting.
With a care plan tailored for each person, we focus on the individual needs of those we support. Our person-centred approach can be seen in everything we do, including our cooking, hospitality, activities and even trips in our minibus.
We aim to improve the quality of life for each and every resident in our home, and we believe you’ll find that we’re ideally suited to meet your needs, both now and in the future. Why not arrange a visit or call in for a cup of tea and see for yourself?
