Meet the Maple Leaf Lodge Care Home Team

Hi, My Name is Emma and I am proud to be the Deputy Manager at Maple Leaf Lodge.

I have been a part of the Barchester family since 2015 and I love every aspect of my job.

Hi I’m Hattie and my job role is the homes administrator. I have been in post since 2019, but I have worked for Maple Leaf Lodge since 2016. I enjoy many aspects of my job but the main one is interacting with the lovely residents we have here in the home. I hope to make their day a little brighter somehow.

My name is Courtney and I am proud to be the Activities Coordinator for Maple Leaf Lodge.

I have worked at Maple Leaf since 2020 and I started as a night carer before taking the opportunity  to lead the activities team. My team and I ensure that the residents enjoy a range of fun and varied activities from outings and external performers to animal therapy and gardening.

I have worked at Maple Leaf Lodge since we first opened in 2009. I started as a kitchen assistant and worked my way up to Head Chef. I enjoy creating menu’s with the residents input from our monthly meetings. The residents are always welcome into my kitchen and appreciate any of their feedback.

Having started as maintenance assistance in 2014, I am now the Head of Maintenance for our lovely Care Home. I enjoy working for Barchester and I am proud to represent the values they promote.

I have worked at Maple Leaf since June 2021 as the Head Housekeeper. I enjoy being a part of the Barchester team. The aspect I enjoy most about my job is being able to interact with different residents whilst I am keeping their home nice and clean.

Hi, my name is Molly and I am the admin assistant at Maple Leaf Lodge. I have worked in the home since 2013 and I have worked in all departments. I enjoy working here because I like making the residents lives enjoyable.

I am a Senior Care Assistant here at Maple Leaf Lodge and have worked here since 2017. It is important to me that each individual resident gets the care and support they need.

Janet has been a much valued member and a part of the Maple Leaf Family since 2013 after recently returning us this year. 

Janet loves to spend time with our residents, interacting with them and hearing about their experiences. 

She says she feels privileged to be a part of such a caring team of people and thoroughly enjoys seeing our residents smile.

I have worked at Maple Leaf Lodge since 2015. I am one of the Senior Care Assistant at Maple Leaf. I am passionate about giving high quality care to our residents and supporting staff members.

My name is Maddy and I started as a care assistant at Maple Leaf but was given the opportunity to progress and become a Senior Care Assistant. I enjoy every aspect of my role and spending quality time with the residents.

I commenced employment at Maple Leaf in 2022 having transferred from a sister home where I worked for 3 years. I enjoy having conversations with the residents and ensure they have an excellent dining experience each and every time.

Sharon is a lively person who spreads happiness within the home with her naturally caring nature. Sharon takes the time to get to know each resident and have a chat.

Wanda is a valued member of the team and always strives to provide the best care for residents here. I am proud to work for a company like Barchester.

I have been working at Maple Leaf Lodge since 2018. I enjoy every aspect of my role and giving the residents person centred care daily.

Darren has been a part of the Maple Leaf family since 2013. 

He works as a part of our wonderful care team and takes great satisfaction in enriching the lives of our residents and spending time with them. 

Darren says that our residents are the ones who make having a career in care incredibly rewarding.

Ella joined the team at Maple Leaf in the summer of 2023 and quickly fit right into her role, becoming a much valued member of the Maple Leaf family, she takes great satisfaction in making our residents smile. 

She has a kind and compassionate nature and loves to spend time with our residents.

Mark has been a part of the Maple Leaf family since 2021, he takes great satisfaction in wanting to benefit people’s lives and help those most vulnerable.

Mark takes great enjoyment in bringing a smile to our residents faces.

Helen has been a much valued member of the team since 2021, Helen is dedicated and incredibly passionate about enriching the lives of our residents on Memory Lane.

She enjoys a getting to know the residents and providing services to promote their quality of life.

Bethia joined the Maple Leaf family in early 2023 and has said there is no place else she'd rather be. 

she says that she loves the feeling of the home and working alongside such a brilliant all round team. 

Bethia takes great delight in spending time with our residents and says there is nothing more rewarding than making them smile.

Mark has been a part of the Barchester family since 2014 and takes great pleasure in enriching the lives of our residents, getting to know them and listening to their life history and experiences.

He takes great pride in his role as activities assistant and takes immense satisfaction in supporting a varied life enrichment programme for our residents.

I have worked at Maple Leaf Lodge since 2016. I ensure each resident enjoys tasty and nutritious foods.  I enjoy listening to what the residents comment on in our monthly resident meeting.

Gary has been a part of the Maple Leaf family since March 2022

Gary is proud to be a part of our marvellous team in the kitchen and loves being involved in creating delicious meals for the residents to enjoy. He takes great satisfaction in Interacting with our residents when assisting at meal times to ensure they take great pleasure in their fine dining experience

Wendy has been a part of the Maple Leaf family since 2009, she started as a care assistant before becoming our homes gardener in 2021.

Wendy is very creative and enjoys making the garden beautiful for ourresidents.

She can often be found in the greenhouse or outside with our residents, planting or painting items for the garden.

Sandra is one of our housekeepers at the Maple Leaf Lodge Care Home and has worked here since 2016. Sandra is a wonderful member of our team who works hard daily to ensure residents rooms are cleaned to a high standard. Sandra is always there dancing with residents when we have a sing a long and is always there for a chat.
