Hello, I am Kerry, the General Manager at Maple Leaf Lodge. I joined Barchester in 2017 and am an experienced member of the regional leadership team.
I have management qualifications and have many years' experience of managing care homes before coming to Barchester. I enjoy building relationships with residents and their families, responding to individual care needs and reassuring relatives that their loved one is in good hands at Maple Leaf Lodge.
I believe it is also vital for me to build good working relationships with all team members at our home, making sure they feel confident and supported in their roles. I like to guide staff by setting an example of how to provide care and support with the utmost dignity.
On a daily basis I seek to enrich residents' lives by making sure we offer a choice of activities, conversation and entertainment.
Hi, My Name is Emma and I am the Deputy Manager here at Maple Leaf. I have been here for over 7 years now and love every aspect of my job.
Hi I’m Hattie and my job role is the homes administrator. I have been in post for over 4 years, but I have worked for Maple Leaf Lodge for over 7 years. I enjoy many aspects of my job but the main one is interacting with the lovely residents we have here in the home. I hope to make their day a little brighter somehow.
Hi, my name is Molly and I am the receptionist at Maple Leaf Lodge. I have worked in the home for over 8 years and I have worked in all departments. I enjoy working here because I like making the residents lives enjoyable.
My name is Courtney and I work in activities. I have worked here for 1 and a half years. I used to be a night carer for a year and then I got the opportunity to go on to activities. I enjoy fulfilling happiness within the home
My name is Alison, I am the activities coordinator at Maple Leaf Lodge. I have worked here for 10 years. I love my job and creating activities, hosting events and teaching new skills or old skills which the residents may have forgotten, which has driven me to continue to be the very best version of me to bring happiness to the residents.
I’m Mick and I work in maintenance and I’m always happy to help. Anything needs mending and I’m here to fix it. I have worked here for 5 and a half years. I enjoy making a difference to the resident’s lives on a day to day basis.
