Hello, I am Denise, General Manager here at Lindum House. Welcome to our website!
Thank you for taking the time to look further into what we have to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.
I am a RG Nurse, qualifying in 1986, specialising in Neuro Medicine and surgery. I have previously been a General Manager at numerous Care Home’s before becoming an inspector for CQC for over 15 years, before joining Barchester and the team here at Lindum House.
I am passionate about delivering good quality, personalised care. This is reflected within the fantastic team we have here at Lindum House. I am always available for a coffee and a chat, and welcome you to meet our care team and view our home.

I joined the team in 2018 as an Admin Assistant with a wealth of admin experience within the care sector. I deal with all aspects of the administration in the home to ensure it runs smoothly, from invoicing, ordering, recruitment, setting up contracts, to manning the telephones. There's never a dull day! I look forward to welcoming you to our home.
Hello my name is Rowena and I have worked at Lindum House for over 15 years as a Nurse before becoming Deputy Home Manager in 2021. I’m very dedicated to my job and get great joy from helping others. Before joining the Lindum House team I worked in the NHS.
Hello, my name is Kelly Scott, and I’ve been organising activities at Lindum House since 2015 and I really enjoy the pleasure I get from doing it. I previously worked on a Memory Lane community as a Carer in a different Barchester home for 4 years, supporting individuals living with dementia.
Since his arrival, Mo has been responsible for us all putting on too much weight! All the residents will agree that he has a way of making the most basic food an absolute delight. He has been a chef since 1989 working in many different areas, working in restaurants and as a self employed consultant to the NHS regarding ethnic foods. He prides himself on using fresh ingredients and local suppliers wherever possible.
I am Phil and I have worked at Lindum House since 1999. I am responsible for ensuring the home is clean and tidy at all time, working to the high standards that our residents deserve. I have a small, but friendly team, many of whom have also worked here for many years. I like to think I have an eye for detail to add those extra touches to the home, to make it truly feel like home.
I joined the team in 2019. I am very passionate about maintaining our beautiful gardens to a high standard for our residents and visitors.
Robert has many years of experience in commercial property maintenance in the hotel industry. Robert and his family have experience caring for family members. Robert takes great pride in attending to all maintenance tasks and is thorough in he’s daily H&S tasks. Welcome Robert to the Lindum family.
Hi, my name is Yazz and I am a Care Practitioner, formerly a Senior Carer here at Lindum House. I have worked in the care sector for over 10-years and I enjoy my role and the delivery of great care and support to our residents.
I have a degree in psychology and criminology and I am dedicated to ensuring our residents are well cared for.
Vanessa joined Lindum House in August 2021, as our Admin Assistant. Vanessa has vast experience within this position, and has great person centred approach. Vanessa enjoys working within the care sector, and is looking forward to being part of the Lindum Team.
