I’m Ana, the General Manager at Friston House and a passionate, dedicated nurse with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2016 and have worked with Barchester since May 2019-a journey I’ve truly enjoyed and one that has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally.

Throughout my career, I’ve always been driven by a deep desire to make a real difference in people’s lives. My nursing background gives me a strong clinical foundation, but it’s my passion for leadership that allows me to support my team in delivering the best possible care. I believe in creating an environment where residents feel safe, respected, and truly at home, and where staff feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best.

At Friston House, I work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure that every aspect of care is tailored to each resident’s individual needs and preferences. Whether it’s supporting people with complex nursing needs or enhancing daily life through meaningful interactions, my goal is always to maintain the highest standards of care and dignity. Leading Friston House is a privilege. I take great pride in building strong relationships with residents, families, and staff-and in fostering a culture of warmth, integrity, and excellence that truly reflects what great care should look like.
