"This is the most loveliest home I have visited. The most friendly welcome every time I visit my friend. The staff are incredible. Activities are amazing with a large variety to suit all. All team members engage with the residents and they are all so happy. I would highly recommend this care home. I feel so at home when I visit here."

I visited Cossins House Care Home few weeks ago and all I can say is that this home is really amazing. They have a lovely atmosphere with a very welcoming, accommodating and friendly staff and of course with a very kind and a humble manager. The activities they provide for their residents are so good and varied. They also have a stunning and well-maintained garden. Their residents all looked comfortable and they are having a good time in the home.
Hope to visit Cossins House again soon.

"Cossins Care Home has been absolutely wonderful for my Mum who has been a resident for the last year and a half. The staff are absolutely wonderful, caring and thougtful people and Mum is very fond of them. The gardens are so pretty with flowers and shrubs and you will often find the chickens and their chicks out and about in the flower beds. There is plenty of entertainment, games, quizes and special occasions like BBQs and Summer Parties. I cannot recommend Cossins House highly enough."

The team is compassionate, professional, and always attentive to individual needs. Whether it’s medical care, social activities, or simple day-to-day support, they go above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable and happy.

The amenities are excellent, meals are well-prepared and nutritious, and there’s a genuine sense of community. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that our family friend JB is in such good hands.

"My mother has been resident at Cossins House for more than two years. She has been receiving excellent care throughout that time and finds the home comfortable and homely, and is able to choose well-cooked meals that suit her taste. The staff are exemplary, providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment. Several of them have worked at Cossins for many years, and every member of staff knows my mum, and our family, and treat her with dignity and as an individual. Although the building is old it is kept in immaculate condition, with well decorated en-suite rooms which look out over the lovely gardens. We could not be happier with the care that our mum receives at Cossins House."

"It's not just the physical environment that makes Cossins House exceptional (delicious food and beautiful gardens) - it is the attentive, compassionate and patient care given by all staff. Seamless co-ordination between the team and local services gives confidence that the medical needs of residents are met and pre-empted, taking away a lot of worry. The atmosphere is friendly and staff are always ready with a smile and a sense of humour. Varied activities are provided and are adjusted dependent on residents' abilities and interests. "The staff here continue to take such good care of my wife even as the help she needs increases. She enjoyed her trip out to a local garden centre recently. Yesterday she was sitting outside in the sun with others when I visited with my son. When I told them that it was his birthday, all the staff came out to sing happy birthday to him. "I was very pleasantly surprised to arrive here at Cossins in August 2023 to a very warm welcome from the staff. Since then, I have been treated very well in all manner of ways, from being washed and dressed in the morning, to throughout the day when I have been given cups of tea often. The Activity Coordinator provides us with a number of activities to help our well-being, mental and physical."

Excellent care home, staff are very caring and well trained. I am so pleased to have moved here. It is a beautiful location with a fantastic garden. Always looked after by the gardener. Lots of activities and trips out. Lots of happy faces and never any trouble to get to hospital appointments.
