I visited here on an activity day, what a beautiful setting. I enjoyed a slice of cake and a coffee in the bistro area. All the staff were lovely. The residents seem very happy.

I have visited caldy manor for the many events that they have for the residents and families and can honestly say the home is absolutely beautiful and such a lovely environment to be in, the residents always seem to have so much fun when I’ve been there and have such a. Wide range of leisure activities and events happening all the time which I think I so important and amazing ! The staff there are so helpful for the residents and for the visitors too. You can see they truly want to help !

Mum is in Caldy Manor for respite; possibly longer. She has been made to feel so welcome and included by all of the staff. It has given us such peace of mind, knowing she is safe and so well looked after. The staff, without exception, always have smiles on their faces, despite doing such a challenging job that sometimes requires a lot of patience. The events manager, Steph, puts on activities with such thought and variety. Nothing is too much trouble. Thanks to all of you who work so hard.

Have visited Caldy Manor Care Home on a few occasions now for community events that they have held.
Not only is the building a beautiful place, the home has a warm, friendly, welcoming, clean and homely environment. The staff are so friendly and professional, you can see that resident well-being is a top priority. Everytime I visit the residents are well cared for and appear to be having a great time taking part in whatever activity is taking place! It is lovely (and refreshing) to see a nursing home really trying to engage with the local community!
Although I do not have family members in need of nursing home care, I would highly recommend Caldy Manor to anyone looking for a nursing home! Well done to all of the staff!

"My parents are residents at Caldy Manor care home, and have been for 2.5 years. The level of care that has been offered to my Mum and Dad by the manager and her team is exceptional. Yes, they get all of what you'd expect such as great meals, adherence to their medication plans, clean and homely facilities. But what sets Caldy Manor above any other care home that I've had contact with is the genuine level of love and care that all of the staff offer to my parents. This truly is a home where my parents are cared about, and not just looked after. And there are so many instances of the staff going the extra mile. Most recently, my Dad was 90 and they helped my wife and I to set up a wonderful party for my Dad with his family. Nothing was too much effort for the Caldy Manor team and everything was organised as we'd agreed, with the staff on the day being diligent and interested in making sure that everything went perfectly. We are very lucky that we found Caldy Manor as my parents' new home."

"Mum loves being in Caldy Manor. She absolutely loves her room and really values having access to the beautiful grounds. She has nothing but praise for the staff who treat her with so much respect and dignity. She loves her days out, but always looks forward to returning. Mum was very ill when she entered Caldy. The improvement in her mental and physical health since being a resident has been remarkable."

"My 90-year-old father had respite care in Clady Manor. He was treated very well, with courtesy and respect. He enjoyed the food and the activities provided. The staff are friendly and fellow residents provided him with good companionship. He was happy and said all the staff did their best. The manager is insightful, intuitive and makes every effort to treat all residents as individuals. She is a superb manager, kind and caring to relatives as well. Thank you"

"Caldy Manor is unique. As soon as you arrive up the driveway the house has character and a warmth that is attractive. The same is true of the staff and the ethos of the home, we were always welcomed in and their communication with us was reliable and informative. It gave you the feeling that you knew what was going on and how your relative was faring. Their care of our relative was second to none and he became part of their ‘family’. They always went the second mile both for him and for us as we lived a distance away. We were sorry that he needed to go to a nursing home in the end as we knew he loved it at Caldy Manor. Thank you to all the staff for making the home such a special place."

"My parents stayed at Caldy Manor at the end of February whilst my wife and I enjoyed a holiday. The care and kindness they received from the staff was excellent as was the attention to their minor medical needs. The home is spotlessly clean and the food was excellent, I know as I stayed for lunch before leaving them. Neither of my parents (both in their 90's) have ever had "respite" care before and remain quite independent in their own home, so it was with some apprehension that I made these arrangements. The manager too visits their home prior to their stay allayed any fears that my parents had and knowing that they were safe and in good hands made our holiday all the more relaxing. Many thanks indeed to everyone at Caldy Manor and we hope to do the same again later in the year."

"My Mother-in-Law has been a resident in Caldy Manor for the past 12 months and the care and kindness shown to her by all the staff is excellent. The hard work and dedication of all the Caldy Manor team is second to none and they certainly go that extra mile to ensure that residents are comfortable and well care for. My Mother-in-law is so happy at Caldy Manor and has made many friends and feels safe and is happy to now engage with people and join in with many of the interesting activities that the team members provide. She is a changed woman and her new home at Caldy manor has improved her overall well-being."

"My father has now been living at Barchester Caldy Manor for over 5 years. He's very happy there are the staff are very attentive to his needs and wishes. We have been able to visit regularly despite covid due to the installation of a dedicated visitor pod. Whilst he jokes with us that it's a bit like prison visiting it works really well giving privacy and a lack of background noise enabling him to hear us clearly. There are plenty of activities for the residents to join in an outing in the minibus which he enjoys. The food is excellent and there's plenty of choice."

"Due to my Mum's mental incapacity from dementia, we had recently moved my Mum in to live with us after she had spent 16 months in another residential facility. However, when my Father-in-Law died we needed to use respite care; so having done a fair bit of research and based on our previous experience with care facilities we chose Caldy Manor. From the initial enquiry the staff at Caldy Manor showed genuine care, kindness and expertise. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her stay albeit short and she was well looked after. I have no hesitation to highly recommend this facility for whatever needs your relative or family needs."
