My 94 year old mother stayed in Burwood Grange for a three week respite stay. I highly recommend Burwood Grange for similar or long-term residential stays. The building is brand new and is thoughtfully designed (ie no lip/step from inside areas to outside) and is aesthetically pleasing with several different areas to relax or meet (including some lovely courtyard gardens), all furnished impeccably. The overall feeling is very calm and welcoming. The stars of the show are the staff who are all immensely caring and helpful. They understand that the transition from your own home to a care home is a big one and they do all they can to help the residents settle in.

I would like to express my positive experience with Burwood Grange Care Home. As a Paramedic working in a primary and urgent care setting, I conduct clinical assessments and develop clinical impressions or diagnoses to ensure effective management and referrals when necessary.

The level of care provided at Burwood Grange is truly exceptional. The staff members are not only highly professional and skilled but also exhibit deep compassion and dedication. They treat each resident with dignity and respect, displaying genuine warmth while taking the time to listen to and understand their individual needs and preferences. I have been particularly impressed by their proactive approach to care, as they are attentive to even the slightest changes in my patients’ well-being and address these matters promptly and thoughtfully.

In addition to the exemplary personal care offered at Burwood Grange, the environment is also commendable. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, thereby creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere. A genuine sense of community is fostered, with ample opportunities for residents to socialise and engage in activities that align with their interests.

Communication has been consistently excellent throughout my interactions with the care home. The staff keeps me regularly informed about my patients' progress and are always available to address any inquiries I may have. This open and transparent approach has been immensely reassuring.

I wholeheartedly recommend Burwood Grange Care Home to anyone seeking a care home where compassion, professionalism, and genuine care are of the utmost importance.

"Replace my grandmother at Burwood for four weeks while my grandfather recovered from an operation. We were impressed with how friendly everyone was and how well she was looked after. "Mum came here on respite care, and the staff could not have done any more to make Mum welcome and support us both. Since Mum arrived, worried about being in a home, she has had the most wonderful experience. She has been made to feel a million dollars. Cared for every minute and thoroughly enjoys every day. "Our father is really enjoying his time at Burwood Grange. The staff are friendly, warm and engaging it has made the transition for him from living at home much easier than we could have hoped for. He is fully immersing himself in the daily activities available which has really helped settle him, from gardening to music & dance to name just a few. He really feels like he is part of a new community, chatting to residents and staff alike and as a close family this has reassured us knowing he is happy in a safe and secure environment."

"We arrived at Barchester Burwood Grange Care Home in crisis as my father went into hospital with a suspected stroke and my mother has dementia and complex needs. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with compassion, care and reassurance. All the staff gave me ample time to discuss our needs and made Mum feel at ease. The grounds and facilities are outstanding, clean, well-equipped and appropriate. During her respite stay, we now feel confident that she will be treated respectfully and we have peace of mind while my dad recovers."

"Burwood Grange has brought my mum back to life! It was a huge decision to move her into a care home but Burwood Grange has ticked all the boxes; beautiful, accessible spaces and gardens, a wide range of activities and most importantly, friendly, caring staff. It is so encouraging to see Mum engaging with other people again and enjoying life. Lots of parking and very welcoming to friends and family too. It is so reassuring to know Mum is being looked after so well and so lovely to have her living close by for a change."

I was worried for my friend as she couldn't look after herself as before and I felt helpless.
