Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Sowing the Seeds of Success
We were excited to receive our seeds today in the post, and wasted no time in getting out in the garden with our residents to start sowing. Dodging the showers of course!
We are sowing and growing to share cut flowers with our community.
We hope our efforts will provide us with flowers to brighten our residents' rooms and give us enough blooms for us to thank our volunteers for the time and skills they kindly share with us.
Armchair Travel
We have been enjoying travelling to different countries around the globe… from the comfort of our chairs! Once a fortnight we take a virtual tour to some of our favourite destinations, helping bring back those wonderful holiday memories and allow residents to share their lovely travel tales with everyone!
This week, as requested, we set off for Sydney to learn about its history and also see some stunning views from some of Australia’s finest beaches!
You hum it, I'll sing it!
We welcomed the wonderful Cosmic Sparkle to Wilton Place yesterday. They delighted us with an afternoon of upbeat tunes and sing-a-long favourites, whilst we danced, clapped, and tapped our feet to the music!
The 70's comes to Wilton Place
The 70's comes to Wilton Place and a great evening was had by all, residents, family members and staff!
We had a fantastic 70's style buffet and a lovely punch to drink, non- alcoholic of course!!
Antoinette is looking after Sinbad our VIP Bear
Antoinette is 'bear sitting' with our very important visitor Sinbad the bear, he has been on national TV and in the press and now he comes to visit us at Wilton Place on a regular basis. After just his head being found on the beach one of our very clever relatives Eleanor restored him to his former self.....such a handsome chap!
The Knit and Natter Group is gaining momentum!
The Knit and Natter group that was started up by one of our carer's Rosie is getting more and more popular with our residents. No gents so far but we are working on it!

Join us for a fun afternoon. The talented Dave Dawson will entertain us with songs from the 1940's to the 1990s. Tea, Coffee and Cake will be served afterwards. RSVP
