Meet the team
Our staff are what hold the home together. Each one of these team members are dedicated to providing high quality care and services to those we support, and ensuring that residents enjoy all aspects of life at our home. See below to meet some of our friendly faces:
Hello, my name is Helena, and I am the General Manager here at St Thomas. Welcome to our website!
St Thomas is a unique and beautiful building, supporting residents within our 10-60-06 accredited Memory Lane Community.
I have been managing care homes since 2000 and I am thrilled to be working with the team at St Thomas to deliver the best standard of care to residents in bespoke and beautiful surroundings.
Please feel free to drop in to meet us and have a coffee and some cake in our beautiful chapel.
Hi, my name is Kathryn, and I am the Deputy Manager here at St Thomas. I have been working in care homes for a number of years and I thoroughly enjoy my job. My role is to support the General Manager and staff in providing the best care for people living with dementia in a homely and stimulating environment.
Hi! I’m John, the Head of Maintenance at St Thomas Care Home, and I started here since in December 2016. I have worked in care home maintenance for over 10 years and always strive to keep a high standard of maintenance so that residents can be proud of the home they live in. I enjoy interacting with residents and involving them in our day-to-day routine when possible.
Linda Milsom (left) heads up the housekeeping and laundry, and has said that she has a hardworking team, who all take great pride in keeping St Thomas a clean and lovely place for those who live here.
Linda, Ruth (middle) and Carmen (right) have all worked at St Thomas for a number of years, and have seen great changes in the home during their time with us.
Hello, my name is Zeus and I enjoy coming to work with my mum, Helena, now and again. I am 6 years old and my mum and dad adopted me from a rescue when I was 18 months old.
I love spending time with the residents at St Thomas, especially when they have cake! My favourite game is ball, so if you see me carrying my ball, I would be really happy for you to throw it for me. I also have the waggiest tail and am happy to show everyone this as much as I can.
Please come and say hello to me when you visit.
