Meet our Activities Coordinator, Beth Coram

My main responsibility is to provide a varied and engaging activities schedule every day for our residents to keep them involved in social and uplifting activities. We also love to celebrate national days, birthdays and special occasions with big events.

Activities at Reigate Beaumont

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising and delivering a fun mix of activities and events chosen by the residents here at Reigate Beaumont. We work closely with the local community who get involved in all kinds of activities within the home. We enjoy all kinds of events which could be anything from trips out to local places of interest in our minibus or visits from entertainers and musicians, spending time in our beautiful gardens, or providing great activities for the mind body and soul. We liaise with local churches and regularly hold multi-congregational services at the home.

It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and invite them to our regular events. We also have a variety of volunteers who really enjoy spending time within the home too.

Life at Reigate Beaumont Care Home

May Day

Ladies at Reigate Beaumont celebrated May Day by reminiscing about may pole dancing as children and making May Queen flower garlands. Doris shared how she was always a bit sad that she wasn't ever chosen to be the Queen, but all of our ladies are Queens of the May to us!

Music & Movement

Our Music & Movement sessions are becoming very popular with residents here.

World Whisky Day

World Whisky Day was celebrated at our Gentleman's Social. They had a whisky tasting quiz, where they had to match different whiskies to different flavours. Residents then developed their own unique blend of whisky. Cheers, gents!

St George's Day

Residents had fun making paper red roses in Art Club for our St Georgie’s Day concert.

The Queen's Birthday

Residents had a lovely tea party in the sunshine to celebrate the Queen’s 95th birthday, making use of our beautiful grounds.

Bowling & Boules

Indoor target games are always popular here at Reigate Beaumont.
