Meet the Pittsmead Grange Care Home Team

Hello, my name is Tammy and I am the Deputy Manager here at Pittsmead Grange Care Home.

I have worked for Barchester since September 2020, having worked in Health & Social Care since 2005 I soon found my passion for senior care, learning and training. In a relatively short time I studied for my Level 5 Leadership & Management Diploma, Level 3 Palliative & End of Life Care and Bradford University Dementia Mapping. I am excited to be part of the team at Pittsmead Grange, they are caring and they are really keen to learn new skills, it’s great to be a part of that. The home is a fantastic place to work and I look forward to supporting our wonderful residents and their loved ones here.

Hello, my name is Emily, and I am the Home Administrator at Pittsmead Grange Care Home. I have been working in care homes since I left school and have over 4 years of experience working within an admin/reception team. I am really excited to be working in such a beautiful environment and with such a great team. 

As the Home Administrator, I will be here to help our families with any questions they may have about their account. I will also be ensuring that the back office and front of the house are run efficiently. I really look forward to welcoming new residents and their families into our wonderful home.

Hello, My name is Julie and I am the Admin Assistant here at Pittsmead Grange. I am really looking forward to welcoming our residents and their families into the home. I am really pleased to be working for Barchester in one of their luxury new build homes. I have a background in NHS administration and I am excited to work in this area of the care sector now and in such a beautiful environment with a great team.

Hello, My name is Wendy and I am the Second Chef here at Pittsmead Grange.

Before joining Barchester, I started my career at catering college where I received my NVQ level2. I am so passionate about food and cooking meals that are enjoyable and nutritious. 

I have previously worked in the pub and restaurant business but in 2015 I decided to join the care industry and I have never looked back. I love being able to support our residents and their nutritional needs. It brings me joy seeing them enjoy their meals and sharing a giggle with them. 

Two years ago I had never baked a cake however now I am providing our residents and visitors with home-made, delicious cakes in our beautiful café area which you can see on our Facebook page from time to time. 

I am so proud to be part of the team here at Pittsmead Grange.

Hello, My name is Maggie and I am a laundry assistant here at Pittsmead Grange. Our home is so beautiful and I am very pleased that I get to be part of the team here. I am new to Barchester however I am very excited about my future here. I very much look forward to welcoming our new residents.

My name is Ella, and I am the Care Community Lead at Pittsmead Grange. I have over 13 years of experience working in healthcare. I enjoy giving the residents the person-centred care they deserve. 

I am passionate about helping others and believe everyone deserves dignity and respect. I take pride in leading the care team to give the residents at Pittsmead Grange the best experience possible. 

Hi, My name is Andrew and I am the head Chef here at Pittsmead Grange. I have worked  in the care sector for over 30 years and I am very excited to have now joined one of the most highly respected care providers in the UK.
I will do my very best to make every mealtime a home from home experience using only fresh ingredients to provide nutritious and tasty meals . Most importantly, sitting and chatting over a cuppa with our residents is undoubtedly the best way to get to know their favourite foods or the things they may well be missing. Myself and my kitchen team will then try to incorporate them into our menus to make the residents feel more at home.
