"Mum has been under your care for over a year now. I am very happy with all aspects of her care. Being Picky, I would like a dressing table with chair for her to sit and do her hair & makeup at, rather than a stack of drawers. I have to mention Loretta, she puts her heart & soul into that place, and is a fantastic asset to your firm."

"From the outside of the property I knew it would be nice inside as I had seen the property built on my daily commute. But the inside is better than I had anticipated. Every attention to detail has been thought of, decor, furnishings and ornaments of a high quality which make it feel like a 5* hotel but at the same time very homely and inviting. The staff are caring and attentive with nothing too much trouble. My Father In Law is currently in respite but I do believe he will be back to Pinetree to live out the final chapter of his life, as will I when the time comes. I believe that Pinetree is not a care home, it is a home you can live and be cared for, but have freedom if you still want it. As close to perfection as you could get."

Visiting Pinetree Care Home, I genuinely felt the warmth and care from every member of staff. The atmosphere, the residents, and the strong sense of community were all so heartening.

It’s such a beautiful place, surrounded by equally beautiful people. Ellie’s initiatives to connect the care home with the wider community such as the knitting projects that give back to the community are special. This is not just a care home. It’s a place full of life, purpose, and genuine connection.

The facilities and furnishings at Pinetree Care Home are top-notch but it's 'secret sauce' are the people who make Pinetree so very special. Every interaction with staff has been professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring. They've created an environment where Dad doesn't just receive care—he thrives.

Under Damien's excellent management, the team creates a truly positive and encouraging environment. Among others, staff members Becky, Ellie, Loretta, and Lorraine go above and beyond every single day. They don't just provide care; they build meaningful relationships with residents and treat everyone like family. The difference in Dad has been remarkable. His walking has improved significantly, he's discovered a love for painting that we never knew he had and he is truly relaxed and happy. As an outdoors man, he loves pottering in the garden, which has given him a real sense of purpose. The organized visits and celebrations are wonderful—the VE Day celebrations were particularly moving. He thoroughly enjoys the delicious food, loves the singing activities, and even the hairdresser has given him his best haircut in years! The staff have clearly taken time to understand his interests and abilities, providing tailored activities and support that have brought out the best in him.

We were so worried about Dad staying in a care home but could not be happier with Pinetree, it feels more like a family run 5* luxury hotel and spa, and we would recommend it without hesitation to any family looking for exceptional care for their loved one.

"Found all the staff to be friendly, welcoming and supportive of my elderly dad and his medical conditions. Very understanding of my questions as his daughter and supportive of me also. Dad found his room and the food excellent, pleasant stay and enjoyed chatting with staff and residents staff diligent regarding dad's medication administration, also going above and beyond to ensure his comfort. Dad did worry about his laundry but was reassured when it arrived back clean the following day, would recommend Pinetree for excellent 24 hour care."

We regularly visit Pinetree Care Home to provide footcare for their residents and are always made to feel so welcome. Lorraine in Admin and Ellie, the Marketing Manager, are fantastic to work with — friendly, organised, and really supportive.

The home is clean, comfortable, and the staff genuinely care for their residents. Every visit runs smoothly, and it's clear the residents are happy and well looked after.

"This care home has been a great experience for mum and I. Mum moved in this January, we've seen a remarkable improvement in her quality of life. Her ensuite room is beautiful with the bonus of direct access to a furnished garden. The personal care received is thoughtful and kind, with a genuine concern for her well-being. The cleanliness of the home is excellent, its a bright and welcoming environment. Food is another highlight. It's excellent in its variety and quality, the chef is accommodating, happily fulfilling Mum's personal requests, like her beloved cheese on toast. What sets Pinetree apart is the staff. They are amazing. They not only provide care for Mum, but also care for the family. They are aware of the stress families go through during this transition and give invaluable support. Overall the decor is beautiful, but more importantly, the staff always have time for interaction. Pinetree has improved both our lives, I am grateful for the care and compassion they provide."

The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and there is always someone available to answer any queries. "My mother entered Pinetree Care Home after a long period of me living full time with her at home with Alzheimer's disease. I had visited several other homes in the area. On entering Pinetree the warm welcome and superb facilities immediately stood out. My mother has been resident there for 3 months and I can say that the level of care, kindness and patience has been excellent. She has settled very well and is eating well and enjoying the activities on offer."

"The support received from Pinetree Rawreth has been exceptional. Allowing dad to join in their daily activities months before moving in was amazing creating familiarity with carers ,residents and environment ahead of moving in. A welcoming home with staff who go that extra mile to allay any fears or anxious feelings that residents or their families may have. All staff take an interest and nothing is too much trouble . Exceptional amenities and cleanliness with a friendly atmosphere that tries very hard to ensure everyone's needs are catered for. They take time to get to know residents on an individual basis offering understanding and encouragement organising group activities around their interests making it fun I feel very confident with this amazing team that 'care' about their residents to recommend Pinetree to anyone contemplating respite or permanent care for a loved one."

"My husband was in respite for eighteen days to give me a break. He was up every night so I never got a night's rest - I was very happy to put him in Barchester Pinetree Care Home, Rayleigh. It took him a day or so to settle down. Mainly, he was convinced he had to go to work, he is 87 years old. I was very impressed with the care he received. The Pinetree is like a five-star hotel, beautiful. I would certainly use it again for respite if I need it. Unfortunately, having dementia, I don't think he realised how well he was looked after but I did."
