Wendy Sugden
General Manager
Hi, my name is Wendy and I am the General Manager here at Castle Park. Welcome to our website.
My background was initially medically elderly nursing some 20+ years ago (where does time fly) . I can honestly say I have loved every area of nursing I have worked, from surgical, infectious diseases, oncology, working at opposite sides of the world, but since joining Castle Park in 2012 I have become so involved with each and every one of the younger residents we care for, they feel like an extended family to me, I am now in my forever job role.
We strive for ways to promote independence, enhance lifestyles and hopefully have a lot of fun along the way. We appreciate how hard complex care can be for families that is why after the Coronavirus pandemic we made the decision to have a dedicated respite room to support families who need a little bit of breathing space for a short while.
My team and I have many years of experience and enhanced skill, which enable us all deliver the highest standard of care to look after your loved ones.

Paris Bradford
Administrator
I joined Castle Park in July 2020 as an Admin Assistant, however I have recently become Home Administrator in March 2024. My duties include recruitment, finance and general administration as well as welcoming visitors/families into the home.
Christopher Brown
Maintenance Manager
Chris is another member of our wonderful team, and has worked for Barchester for over 30 years. He takes so much pride in his role, keeping Castle Park and the grounds well-maintained constantly throughout the year.
Karen Warriner
Activities Coordinator
Karen has been at Castle Park for over 3 decades. She was a carer who joined the activities team in 2017, and this role is simply made for her. Karen is an approachable, caring and knowledgeable about all residents, their loved ones and will always go out of her way to make people feel contented and valued.
Kira Lonsdale
Admin Assistant
Kira welcomes and assists visitors at the home. She also assists with administration duties, including payroll and the purchase ledger
