My family and I will always be deeply grateful to the entire Herne Place staff for the love, care, and genuine affection they showed to my mum, and indeed the rest of my family, over the past three years.

It’s never an easy decision to move a loved one into care, but any worries we had were quickly put to rest the moment we stepped through the door.

The warmth and friendliness of the staff were obvious from day one, and the care my mum received went far beyond anything we ever expected.

The home itself is immaculate—spotlessly clean thanks to the wonderful housekeeping team—and beautifully decorated throughout. The facilities are excellent, with plenty of engaging activities for the residents. My mum went on so many lovely outings and enjoyed taking part in some really fantastic events at the home. She truly loved her time here.

The food was another highlight, with a varied menu to choose from, plus the usual steady flow of tea and biscuits to enjoy throughout the day.

But it’s the staff that I always come back to. They are the key. Every single one of them played a huge part during my mum’s stay. They went above and beyond on countless occasions and we can never thank them enough.
