I received a voucher to have a cream tea for two at Mill Court when I attended an open day when it first opened and I used it last week with a friend. What a fabulous array of yummy cakes, a bottle of fizzy and pots of tea refilled as often as we wanted. The staff could not have been more lovely. Thank you :)

I've been visiting my friend in restbite, when I got her out of NHS Woking Ckmmunity Care Hospital, he was so ill. The care was that bad.

Two dags later in Mill Court what an absolute turnaround. The care in 2nd to none. Its friendly with so many activities. Beautiful, well decorated rooms, and huge quality TV'S.

My friends room has a patio door, so has plenty of natural light. Plenty of storage and lamps

The entire home is filled with a very positive attitude, and care. A lovely cafe area with citrus water on tap and beautiful cakes daily. You feel.like you're in a friendly hotel.

One downer, they should've put a Jacuzzi in the facilities. Would've been excellent after a physio session.

I was kindly invited to the formal opening of Mill Court a delightful care home. The facilities are excellent and the staff most efficient, helpful and great ambassadors for Mill Court and the Barchester brand.
The opening was well organised with the opportunity for conducted tours to view the impressive facilities and the refreshments and attention to detail of the highest standard.
A big thank you to Jogi, Bhavik, Emma and the team for such an enjoyable occasion.

"Celebration off my Aunts 100th birthday at Mill Court. From the organising of the day everyone was on board, manageress to admin staff. A private lunch was arranged. A lovely three course meal was served by the chef. Next came a homemade cake, shared with the residents. Throughout the day my Aunt felt very special. A very big thank from the family."

"Staff are very helpful and caring. They do their best to auticidate our needs. Accommodation is of a high standard and well cared for. Food is always adequate. The best is that most staff anticipate my needs and sometimes introduce humour and smiles in what might otherwise be a sad environment."

"My mother originally stayed at Mill Court for a trial 2 weeks and was so happy there that she became a resident. She is so well looked after, staff are excellent and always concerned for Mum's wellbeing. From a daughter's point of view it takes the worry away knowing that she is in such good hands."

"I have been to stay for 2 x respite weeks and was very happy. The staff are all very friendly and care for my needs always making sure I am happy. My room was very comfortable and I am more than happy to go back to give my wife/carer a well deserved break!"

"A wonderful, purpose-built, brand-new facility. The communal areas are well thought out, comfortable and modern. The rooms are beautifully finished with modern wet rooms. The staff were all fantastic. My mum enjoyed her respite week and settled very quickly. The food was also lovely according to Mum! Thank you. I would thoroughly recommend this care home."

"My mother was the first person into the home and it was not an easy transition but she was very well looked after. However as more people have come in I feel that things are not running as well as they should. On the occasions when I have been with her when she has had a meal the food is very poor. Soggy poor quality white bread toasted, re heated food and tasteless. Communications are not good either. I was rung up at 9.30 pm the other Saturday night about transportation for my mother for a long standing appointment at the hospital for the Monday. On other occasions I have had 3 staff ring me up about the same hospital visit asking me the same questions. There does not seem to be much communication between each other or system in place. This does not fill me with great confidence. My mother has dementia but seems contented and the care workers are amazing. I feel for the price we are paying per week things in the general running of the place need to improve hugely."

"Barchester Mill Court Care Home is a very special place. My mother moved in last week and although it has only been a week, it feels like home. The staff are all very caring and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well laid out and kept clean and tidy. The activities are carefully organised and inclusive no matter what your disability. Families visiting are also made to feel at home."
