Scottish Care Award is second accolade for Julie
Julie Wright, Care Practitioner at Drummond Grange Care Home in Lasswade was delighted to be named ‘Carer of the Year’ at the Scottish Care Awards 2015 on the 20th November.
Julie also won an award at the Barchester Care Awards 2015 in the ‘Apprentice/Learner of the Year’ category.
The prestigious Scottish Care Awards are organised by Scottish Care. The awards aim to promote and recognise excellent examples of care in Scotland and celebrate those who work hard to make a difference to the lives of others.
Eleanor Wilson, General Managerat Drummond Grange Care Homesaid: “This award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in their work and Julie could not be more dedicated to top-quality care. We are all so proud of her for winning not one, but two awards this year! ”
Julie Wright said: “It is a real honour to be recognised by your colleagues and the people you care for in this way. This has been a great year for me and I still can’t believe I have won. I would like to thank everyone who has supported and believed in me this far.”
