Nominations open for Barchester Care Awards 2017
Barchester Healthcare is asking staff, residents, relatives and friends to nominate Barchester staff and volunteers who do an outstanding job for this year’s Barchester Care Awards.
The awards are a chance to give extra recognition the individuals who make a special effort to go above and beyond their normal day-to-day duties to help residents and their families.
There are 13 categories, reflecting the contribution of people in a variety of different roles. Categories range from Carer/Support Worker of the Year and Registered Nurse of the Year to Volunteer of the Year and Home Administration Champion.
There is also a special category for staff, volunteers and care home residents who have raised money and/or awareness for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation, a charity which helps older people and other adults living with a disability in England, Scotland and Wales.
The deadline for nominations is 30th April 2017.
Winners will then be selected for each Division (North, Central, South and Hospitals and Specialist Services). All of the Divisional Winners will be invited to a glitzy awards luncheon in October to celebrate and hear the judges announce the National Winners.
