Nominations open for Barchester Care Awards 2016
Barchester Healthcare has launched its Care Awards today and is asking staff, residents, relatives and friends to nominate Barchester staff who do an outstanding job and go above and beyond for the benefit of the individuals living in Barchester homes.
Excellence in quality care provision is what the Barchester Care Awards are all about. The Awards are a chance to recognise the individuals who make a special effort to go above and beyond their normal day-to-day duties to help residents and their families.
There are 13 categories ranging from Carer/Support Worker of the Year and Registered Nurse of the Year to Volunteer of the Year and Home Administration Champion. This year an exciting new category has been introduced, 'Team of the Year', which celebrates examples of outstanding teamwork in homes.
As always, Barchester are inviting nominations from family, friends, residents and staff members for the exceptional work staff do at a Barchester care home. If you would like to nominate a Barchester member of staff in any of the 13 categories from any of the homes and hospitals around the UK, please complete the nomination form on our website or pick up a paper form from any Barchester care home. Nominations close on 29th April.
Once the judging process is complete, the finalists of the Barchester Care Awards will be invited to a glitzy awards luncheon, which will take place in October.
